Norcal Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Nice work by Baptiste and Ennis on the first goal. MUCH stronger on the stick that time by Zemgus. I'm watching delayed. Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Okposo is good. He's making all those small plays that ROR routinely makes. They're going to be fun to watch together. Also, that attempted back-hand alley-oop pass by Reinhart to ROR was silly, bet he and Eichel connect on that a few times this year. silly yes, but the scary thing is he thought of it in real time, and executed it perfectly. I love Okposo doing the little things right Quote
beerme1 Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Unrelated, but looking like we may have dodged a bullet with Zatkoff going to LA--he looks like hot, smoldering, cow dung. I so want them to flame out because of him. He deserves it. Quote
CGorman Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 silly yes, but the scary thing is he thought of it in real time, and executed it perfectly. I love Okposo doing the little things right It's truly a great example of how he thinks the game on another plane, literally. You don't often see guys feather shots wide like that hoping for a deflection. He's going to be fun to watch. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Gorges takes Jerry Hughes penalties without the positives that Jerry Hughes brings.A bad possession team won't let us touch the puck. And every time we do, Dan has us chip it in and they take it right back. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 I hold Dudacek personally responsible for every Foligno mistake. Quote
WildCard Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Franson couldn't skate with his man so he literally tried to punch him  Quote
WildCard Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 God get Gorges off the top pair. He's awful Quote

Maybe it's me, but it looks like we're back to the weak ass forecheck from the Habs game. Quote
3putt Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Edmonton tried a home run pass on almost every breakout. Calgary is content with carrying it in with numbers. This seems to be our weakness. We can defend the hero play. Not so much the base play. Quote
bunomatic Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Its apparent these flames have been told to go down easy. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Risto looking average through 3 games. Risto looking average the last 45 games. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 I would have forgiven Gorges for all transgressions if he had just managed to fall over backwards there  Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 I don't want Dudacek to yell at me, but Gorges is so so cringe-worthy. Quote
Weave Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Maybe it's me, but it looks like we're back to the weak ass forecheck from the Habs game. They're running a 1-1-3. Yay trap! Quote
bunomatic Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 This reminds me of Lindys alamo. Quote
3putt Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 I think I have seen enough of Grant. Next! Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 They're running a 1-1-3. Yay trap! Okay, so it's not me. I don't want to derail the thread with a long Bylsma rant, but he's using our personnel precisely the wrong way. It's like he's scared of Calgary's speed vs our blue line, but by playing defense he's making our defenders do more of what they're not very good at. Quote
3putt Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 WTH Marcus you simply have to walk it over the line and you trip? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 Is Bylsma an idiot or are our players too tired to do anything else? Weak wind? Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 I think I have seen enough of Grant. Next! Yyyyeeeeaaaaa. Nice story from the preseason, but he's pretty clearly an AHLer. Quote
