Zamboni Posted September 11, 2019 Report Posted September 11, 2019 If you like old Twilight Zone, and Alfred Hitchcock, you’ll like ... Thriller (Boris Karloff hosts). 1961 - 1962. Over 60, ½ hour episodes. All are on YouTube. 1 Quote

inkman Posted September 11, 2019 Report Posted September 11, 2019 I started Homecoming. Lots of talented actors, and I'm not counting Julia Roberts whose mouth is mystifyingly huge. Like I can't stop thinking about it when she's on screen. I think she could eat an eggplant like a chicken wing. Quote
SwampD Posted September 11, 2019 Report Posted September 11, 2019 Hint to getting into Black Mirror; don’t watch the first episode. It’s pretty simple. Each one is it’s own episode so it won’t matter anyway. Its worth it. Quote

In fact I generally felt the earlier seasons focused more on the “thought experiment” side of things, and I’m drawn to that. But from hearing so many people’s thoughts on the show, I’m likely in the minority. Still like the newer ones too. Even Bandersnatch was fun for a bit. Quote
jsb Posted September 12, 2019 Report Posted September 12, 2019 Finished the first 5 episodes of Mindhunter on Netflix yesterday. Definitely worth a watch. Quote

The actor that played Manson was great. Wayne Williams freaked me out. BTK is twisted. 1 Quote

For Fargo fans, I found this description of season 4 (airs sometime in 2020) on IMDb.com: The head of an African American crime syndicate goes to war with the Italian mafia in Kansas City, Missouri during the 1950s Quote
Zamboni Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 American Horror Story starts tonight .. Quote

Unrelated to these characters and who they approximate, but it was a particularly gruesome crime that really did happen. I'm most of the way through- been watching it while I work at night. I like how they're portraying BTK. It's maddening. He didn't get caught until 2005. 1 Quote
Zamboni Posted September 24, 2019 Report Posted September 24, 2019 Finished watching NOS4A2. Good show. Going to start binging on Castle Rock soon. For us Breaking Bad fans ... 1 Quote

nfreeman Posted September 24, 2019 Report Posted September 24, 2019 My wife and I are about halfway through "American Crime Story -- The Assassination of Gianni Versace." It's not as good as the one about OJ, but it's still pretty good. Quote

Edited September 24, 2019 by #freejame From the wiki: Police found metadata embedded in a deleted Microsoft Word document that was, unknown to Rader, still stored on the floppy disk Quote
inkman Posted September 24, 2019 Report Posted September 24, 2019 Started "On becoming a God in Central Florida". Kirsten Dunst is killing it. People are talking about her body and how she shouldn't be showing it (middle aged woman who just had a baby). It must be my old man eyes but I got no issues with any square inch of her being. 1 Quote
Brawndo Posted September 24, 2019 Report Posted September 24, 2019 Anybody seen Peaky Blinders and is it worth watching? Quote

Middle aged? She's younger than me and I wasn't aware that I've quite hit that label yet. Quote
