nfreeman Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 My wife and I saw "Killers of the Flower Moon" tonight. I thought it was really good and one of Scorcese's best IMHO. (My wife thought it dragged on.) 1 Quote

steveoat87 Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 Just saw the latest Mission Impossible. It was OK, but nowhere near as good as the last one. Kind of boring at times Quote
steveoat87 Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 Also saw "The Killer" on Netflix. Its a David Fincher movie. It was interesting but not sure I liked it. Sorry that the David Fincher series Mindhunters as not renewed. Really enjoyed that. Quote

Those movies are all great. Agree, there has never been a bad Bourne movie. Even enjoyed the one with Jeremy Renner. Really enjoyed the first 3 mission impossible movies. After that, hit or miss. Loved all the Sean Connery Bond movies as well as the Daniel Craig ones. Heard rumors that Idris Elba (Luther) may be the next Bond, but who knows. My favorite Bond movies were From Russia with Love and Casino Royale. Edited November 19, 2023 by steveoat87 1 Quote

inkman Posted November 20, 2023 Report Posted November 20, 2023 Almost through Twisted Metal on Peacock. For someone who enjoyed the game, the show isn’t half bad. Very campy and over the top. Quote
ubkev Posted November 23, 2023 Report Posted November 23, 2023 Planes, Trains and Automobiles gets all the love as the best Thanksgiving movie(it's great.) I'm here to say... ...Dutch is the best Thanksgiving comedy. Quote

steveoat87 Posted December 1, 2023 Report Posted December 1, 2023 (edited) Watched first season of Tulsa King and enjoyed it. Also watched Master Gardener (Paul Schrader) on Hulu and though quite dark, enjoyed it. By the way, if you haven't yet watched Season 1 of Silo on Apple TV, please make sure you don't miss it. LTS Posted December 16, 2023 Report Posted December 16, 2023 Is that a prequel or a sequel and are we to assume Django is chained in this one? 🙂 Quote

Sabres Fan in NS Posted December 23, 2023 Author Report Posted December 23, 2023 The only thing better than the movie is the actual true story of the family. We are very fortunate to have them here in NS. Quote
Stoner Posted December 24, 2023 Report Posted December 24, 2023 A Man Called Otto was awesome. It had me laughing and tearing up. Tom Hanks is a national treasure. 2 Quote
