Sabres Fan in NS Posted July 23, 2020 Author Report Posted July 23, 2020 12 hours ago, biodork said: I am very late to the party here, but I'm pretty sure nfreeman a few others watched Schitt's Creek? I think I'm near the end of season 3, and definitely enjoying it. Moira's absurd outfits and wigs and David's general awkwardness are always good for a laugh. Hey, bio, long time no see. How you doing? 1 Quote
nfreeman Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 @biodork -- yes -- Schitt's Creek was a really enjoyable comedy. Separately, I just finished "Zerozerozero" on Amazon Prime. Pretty good international crime/drug war show. It's a lot like the movie "Sicario" and in fact some of the episodes were directed by the director of the 2nd Sicario movie. Solid B-plus. 1 Quote

We are all in the same boat, but in Canada you need to say it like boot, eh. Thank you for your service too. How are you? Healthy, I hope. Stay safe. Quote
freester Posted July 26, 2020 Report Posted July 26, 2020 I would advise everyone to watch “Searching for Sugarman”. It’s a 2 hour documentary true story about a music star. I don’t want to give much away but it’s a heartwarming story on Netflix 1 Quote
Zamboni Posted July 26, 2020 Report Posted July 26, 2020 Speaking of Netflix ... I highly recommend Night On Earth. Its a multipart series about nature at night. Fascinating, beautiful, enlightening, and magnificent. Quote
Indabuff Posted July 28, 2020 Report Posted July 28, 2020 Watched Clemency, very good movie. Interesting perspective on capital punishment. Quote
freester Posted August 13, 2020 Report Posted August 13, 2020 Need suggestions and I don't have time to read entire thread. These are my 3 favorite streaming shows 1. Game of Thrones. 2.The Last Kingdom and 3. Vikings. I needs a new series that's great historical action. Any ideas. Quote

SDS Posted August 13, 2020 Report Posted August 13, 2020 For a quick 40 min Family Friendly night - speed cubers on Netflix was nice. It focused on two people, one autistic, that dominated the world of Rubiks cube solving. Typical times around six seconds. Quote

If you're into the old west, I enjoyed both Godless and Westworld. Westworld's future and past, but still. I liked Black Sails, which was on Starz, if pirates interest you. Quote
