SwampD Posted June 21, 2020 Report Posted June 21, 2020 Both Kill Bills are awesome. I watch any segment of either whenever they are on. 1 Quote
Indabuff Posted June 21, 2020 Report Posted June 21, 2020 Watched The Lighthouse last night. I enjoyed it. Dafoe was perfect for the character. 2 Quote

Sabres Fan in NS Posted June 22, 2020 Author Report Posted June 22, 2020 The Lighthouse was filmed entirely on location in NS and is a fantastic film. That's all. 1 Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted June 29, 2020 Report Posted June 29, 2020 Yellowstone season three is on. Looks good so far. Quote
BagBoy Posted June 30, 2020 Report Posted June 30, 2020 I just got started on a really trippy show that I am enjoying called "The OA" on Netflix. Hard to compare to any other shows, but "The Leftovers" probably comes closest. Quote
Indabuff Posted June 30, 2020 Report Posted June 30, 2020 Red Dawn remake was terrible. Glad it was free. Not glad I wasted the hour and a half. Quote

Zamboni Posted June 30, 2020 Report Posted June 30, 2020 Watched the movie Doctor Sleep. It’s the sequel to The Shining. Wow was that good! Very well done. 1 Quote

First I heard of this. I need to check it out. Thanks! For all of you "The Shining" fans, check out "Room 237" if you haven't already. Outstanding documentary about the movie delving into the multiple aspects, theories and influences behind it. 1 Quote

There was a certain angst that never lets you really "enjoy" it, but I'm glad I watched it all, and would do it again. Quote
ubkev Posted July 2, 2020 Report Posted July 2, 2020 Just watched He Got Game for the first time in about 20 years. It holds up. Quote

Weave Posted July 8, 2020 Report Posted July 8, 2020 Re; Yellowstone. For those of you who grew up in Canada or one of the US-Canada border towns, Hugh Dillon, the frontman for the Canadian punk band The Headstones, plays a recurring character in Yellowstone. He's a sheriff in the show. I don't watch the show myself, so I don't know any other details. But Hugh posts Yellowstone stuff on his twitter frequently. 1 Quote

jsb Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 Especially for the old timers who remember the original show, Perry Mason's last episode just put it in the A category. This may really turn out to be a great show. Quote
biodork Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 I am very late to the party here, but I'm pretty sure nfreeman a few others watched Schitt's Creek? I think I'm near the end of season 3, and definitely enjoying it. Moira's absurd outfits and wigs and David's general awkwardness are always good for a laugh. Quote
