WildCard
He had time. Montreal guy was bearing down on him but he could've either thrown it towards the net/left corner or attempted to step up/into the Montreal player.I think it as bouncing so he just swung
K-9
Skating like we think it's impossible to win with a few guys out of the lineup. Gotta wake up. DeLo needs to mix it up with somebody I think.
Randall Flagg
Disco has to teach these guys how to get offensive zone time.
pi2000
Perfect example of why the stat is trash. Risto had a beautiful breakout that resulted in zone time, and then a Gorges screen led to a goal. Get it? Huh? The Sabres had it setup in MTL zone the puck came back to Risto on the point and he passed it right to a MTL player who sprung Gallagher for the goal. Unforced turnover by Risto led to the goal. Hoss
Oh, surprise. Kane can't score a breakaway.

TrueBlueGED
At least the shot was on net I was 100% expecting Kane to rip it high and wide
Randall Flagg
Huh? The Sabres had it setup in MTL zone the puck came back to Risto on the point and he passed it right to a MTL player who sprung Gallagher for the goal. Unforced turnover by Risto led to the goal. It was a rough attempt at the keep in, sure. But the goal had nothing to do with his play at all, and we never would have had the puck there in the first place without him. No other defenseman has managed a real breakout pass yet this game, until that McCabe one just now. But Lehner letting a softie in gives risto that stat, and stuff like that compounds over the course of the season, especially with Gorges as your partner, and you get a lot of minuses. Using them to evaluate a player is pointless because so often they have nothing to do with anything that player did.
Doohicksie
Sabres played some of their best hockey so far when shorthanded.

TrueBlueGED
McCabe nice pass there Was the one with the breakout? I think so. Looked lefty to me, and we know Gorges isn't doing that.
