Ducky
The Sabres haven't had a 4 game winning streak in the last two seasons. The last 4 game winning streak was 2014-15 when they finished dead last. Don't feel bad...we have won 3 games in a row once last year at the very end of the season when we were out of the playoffs for weeks and once this year.....think about that for a second....one 3 game winning "streak" last year and one this year. I didn't expect to make the post season this year but I expected a bit more consistency.....the only thing consistent about the Jets is their inconsistency. The easiest year to make the playoffs in this division since we got back in it and still can't make it. It sure would be nice to win the lottery again this year and get home boy Nolan Patrick!!! Anyone think Bobby Ryan leaves Ottawa?

Brawndo
The problem is we will never know if GMTM reached out to Julien or not. If word gets out that he did it will undermine Bylsma even more for the rest of the year. Sh!t I really wanted Julien.

Randall Flagg
Murray barely took note that Claude was fired, most likely. He's focused on business here and for him that doesn't involve an immediate firing of his coach. I don't think we were anywhere close to getting Julien

RT @FriedgeHNIC Sounds like there were multiple teams asking for permission on Julien. MON decided to move fast. Florida, NYI and Las Vegas are already reported, but it would not surprise me if the Sabres asked.
Huckleberry
Wes McCauley with the penalty call. https://twitter.com/RDSca/status/830944340927250432 This builds on his already awesome goal call from last year. Brawndo
GMTM has said he is always looking for ways to improve his team, coaching should not be any different. Now if he did go after arguably two of the top three coaches in the league and struck out on both....

Doohicksie
Now if he did go after arguably two of the top three coaches in the league and struck out on both.... I don't see either one of those as a loss per se. It could be possible that regardless of any Sabres offer, both coaches landed in their #1 preferred destination.
