LGR4GM Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Apparently not...... http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/nazem-kadri-wont-suspended-hit-daniel-sedin/ And that is why Vancouver reacted exactly as you should, gloves down go in swinging because the league isn't going to discipline these guys. inkman Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 And that is why Vancouver reacted exactly as you should, gloves down go in swinging because the league isn't going to discipline these guys. It's nice but did Kadri really get what he had coming or was it just a "I dropped the gloves and pretended to give it to him". Quote

Drunkard Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 It's nice but did Kadri really get what he had coming or was it just a "I dropped the gloves and pretended to give it to him". If the guy (Hansen?) would have blindsided him the way he did Sedin there would have been a much better chance to do it. I wish he had. Quote
Brawndo Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) Trouba deal done w/Jets. 2-year deal. $2.5 million year one, $3.5 million year two. Nice deal for the Jets Edited November 7, 2016 by BRAWNDO Quote
Brawndo Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Or the Jets are about to get a huge return when they trade him Quote
sabills Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Or the Jets are about to get a huge return when they trade him Yeah, this. This is a "Please trade me" deal if I've ever seen it. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Yeah, this. This is a "Please trade me" deal if I've ever seen it. Agreed. Two years of cost certainty on the cheap should grease the skids for a deal. Quote

Thorner Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Or the Jets are about to get a huge return when they trade him I would guess sign and trade. 1 - This deal provides the trading team more certainty as they get a Trouba at a very reasonable cost for next year too, and 2 - Trouba wasn't going to be able to play this year if not signed by December 1, so this deal ensures his trade value isn't nullified by being unable to play. I don't believe Trouba wants to or will play in Winnipeg. Good signing by TC. Quote

dudacek Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 That puts the Sabres in the picture. Franson and our first, and Guhle Expose Bogosian to LV. MCabe, Risto, Kuli and Trouba moving forward. Quote

I'd do that in a heartbeat, which makes me think you'd have to swap McCabe in for Guhle to entice Winnipeg. I wound't trade our first and McCabe for Trouba. Robbing peter to pay paul, I don't think Trouba is THAT good of a dman and wound't want to give up the guy who will probably be our second pairing LHD, who is looking very good lately, to get our second pairing RHD, at the expense of a first round pick. This. Trouba is not a 1 or 2. Not worth the premium in my book. Quote

I wouldn't do it either, but I don't see how it gets done without McCabe. We're just not good trading partners. Quote

I wonder if we will ever find out the specifics of if Bogo has to be protected. I bet Murray would protect him either way though, unfortunately. Quote

Cereal Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 NHL Standings fun: Seven (out of 14) Western Conference teams have less Points than the number of Games Played, while only one Eastern Conference Team (Carolina) fits in that category. Quote
Thorner Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 West has been downtrending relative to East for some time now, I think. Quote
