TrueBlueGED Posted October 27, 2016 Report Posted October 27, 2016 I have no idea how Lindolm got less than Risto, Jones, and Hamilton. He's better than every young defender to recently sign not named Ekblad. Quote

Brawndo Posted October 27, 2016 Report Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) Lindholm is in Sweden right now and requires a new work visa which can take 7-14 Days. I wonder if the Ducks get a cap exemption until that is finalized? Risto for Lindholm anyone? Edited October 27, 2016 by BRAWNDO Quote

LGR4GM Posted October 27, 2016 Report Posted October 27, 2016 MAGNUS PÄÄJÄRVI is on waivers. I would pick him up because he is young and I think still has a ton of potential. He is also not super expensive. http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=6014 Quote
WildCard Posted October 27, 2016 Report Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) And his name is Magnus Edited October 27, 2016 by WildCard Quote

LGR4GM Posted October 27, 2016 Report Posted October 27, 2016 Dylan McIlrath is also on waivers. The former 2010 1st round pick is a 6'5" RHD. If he can skate might be worth picking him up. Quote

Thorner Posted October 27, 2016 Report Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) He'd be an insane upgrade to our 4th line. Insane was supposed to be instant...but insane fits nicely too  I agree. But unfortunately I believe it's been established there's 0% chance of it happening. If Murray felt he needed to add depth to the forward ranks he would have already done it in the offseason, when there was a fair bit of reasonable talent available. I suppose we have 2 injuries now, but still don't see it happening. Edit - not proposing you actually thought we would grab him, just venting a bit of lack of depth frustration on my part :/ Edited October 27, 2016 by Thorny Quote
Sabel79 Posted October 27, 2016 Report Posted October 27, 2016 Craig Anderson given an indefinite leave of absence by the Sens. Second time, he also missed a chunk of training camp. No idea, but this has the air of something tragic. Hopefully I'm wrong. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 27, 2016 Report Posted October 27, 2016 Yeah, good strategy, let's get slower on defense. We could pair him with Franson!Nelson is sitting in the press box and is a tire fire when out there. He can get top line playing time in Rochester instead of sitting in the box if we grab another 7D. I'm not convinced McIlrath is any worse.Great avatar, btw. Quote

I would prefer to see Nelson out there over Franson, but Franson has only 6 more games to play to meet the expansion draft exposure eligibility requirement on defense. That means if we protect 4 D and 4F GMTM has the option to trade one of Gorges or Franson and the other would be the only remaining player to meet the eligibility requirement. This is assuming we keep Kulikov and protect him along with Risto and McCabe... Bogo is auto-protected. I'd rather protect Kulikov than somebody like Foligno or Girgensons. That said, maybe they're trying to get Franson's 6 games out of the way early, then Nelson gets in there.... who knows... but I think in Nelson's case he has more to benefit by practicing with the Sabres than he does in Roch. K-9 Posted October 27, 2016 Report Posted October 27, 2016 A bollard. Haha! That's perfect. At least with a pylon you can move it from place to place. A bollard can't even be moved. Quote

Thorner Posted October 28, 2016 Report Posted October 28, 2016 Not good for Kulikov At this point, with what we have on D, sign him. Protect him. Protect 4 D (if Bogo has to be). Protect O'Reilly, Okposo, Ennis and Girgensons. I'd rather lose Foligno or probably even Larsson than Kulikov. Quote
