Huckleberry Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 to me zemgus has lost his 3C spot to larsson last year, he can go up to 3rd line but only as a winger. Quote
inkman Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 Did you just spank your lunch? :( Glad I'm not the only one disheartened by this weirdness Quote

CallawaySabres Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 Psycho with the shutout. I really think he will be our Cup winning goalie if we get there Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 I really think he will be our Cup winning goalie if we get there IF???? I know Nylander will most likely end up in Rochester, but I'm very encouraged with the chemistry between him and Eichel and Samson. I got the sense that the "older" guys enjoyed showing young Alex the ropes. WHEN we win the Cup, that will be our top line. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 (edited) Anyone else have trouble following the game from that low TV angle? Was the game played as badly as it looked on TV? Edited October 5, 2016 by PromoTheRobot Quote
Hoss Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 Eichel's interview with NBCSN http://www.nbcsports.com/video/sabres-jack-eichel-expecting-more-himself-sophomore-season?utm_network=twitter&utm_post=6369873&utm_source=TW%20%40NBCSports&utm_tags=srm%5Bhockey%5D I can't be the only one who hears a difference in his voice this season. He looks more solid and his voice is a little more stern and confident. It's so damn exciting to think about how much room for growth a kid who just put up 60 points as a rookie has. Quote

Huckleberry Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 I would try him back on the Eichel's Wing with Reinhardt. I'd give moulson a shot there before him, big Z just doesn't have the hockey IQ to keep up with them. Quote

He looks more solid and his voice is a little more stern and confident. It's so damn exciting to think about how much room for growth a kid who just put up 60 points as a rookie has. He sounded like a guy who has been in the NHL for 4-5 years already. I really think he will be our Cup winning goalie if we get there He looked real good and didn't seem to be hindered by the ankle at all. If he's not 100%, he's damn close. Quote
Cereal Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 Anyone else have trouble following the game from that low TV angle? Was the have played as badly as it looked on TV? I'm with you on that one, PTR. Very glad it's over haha. It was like sitting too low at RWS The Cap. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 Did you catch the game? You could see this in his demeanor on ice as well. I know it was just a preseason game against a lesser squad - but I noticed that as well. Jack's ready to make a jump. Quote
