LGR4GM Posted December 4, 2016 Report Posted December 4, 2016 He's an 18yr old... yes he should go back to juniors. How many 19yr old nhl players do we know? Quote

rakish Posted December 5, 2016 Report Posted December 5, 2016 He has 1 point in 3 games without Jones. Jones is injured. So are you going to go through all the box scores, or am I? Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 5, 2016 Report Posted December 5, 2016 So are you going to go through all the box scores, or am I? haha you are. I saw a tweet by Kris Baker. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 5, 2016 Report Posted December 5, 2016 I believe that aside from the last three games, he scored just as much without Jones as with him Quote
woods-racer Posted December 5, 2016 Report Posted December 5, 2016 A small pu sample size. pu comes in sample sizes? WhodaThunk? Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 14, 2016 Report Posted December 14, 2016 So Zachary Senyshyn the Bruins... (laughs softly)... first round draft pick (laughs some more), is going to the WJC or at least got invited to try out. Cliff Pu however did not. Both play in the OHL Zenyshyn: 16g, 10a, 23games = 0.696gpg, 1.13ppg Pu: 21g, 26a, 28games = 0.75gpg, 1.679ppg Because the WJC selection is Quote
darksabre Posted December 14, 2016 Report Posted December 14, 2016 I like it. Kid is gonna have a huge chip on his shoulder now. Quote
WildCard Posted December 14, 2016 Report Posted December 14, 2016 (edited) Were both drafted in the same year, and play the same position? Edited December 14, 2016 by WildCard Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 14, 2016 Report Posted December 14, 2016 (edited) Pu is a year younger and both can play RW. Before someone comes in and gets all "Pu plays center Liger!" I am well aware but on WJC teams guys play out of position a lot. Ever see Eichel play wing for Matthews? Or McDavid at the World Cup. Point is both of the above players are righties so it isn't that. Edited December 14, 2016 by LGR4GM Quote

LGR4GM Posted December 14, 2016 Report Posted December 14, 2016 So that pick blows and Pu is awesome That pick blew when they took it. They drafted a mid 2nd rounder in the mid 1st. Senyshyn should have gone like 45th not 15th. The Bruins are going to be really bad for a really long time because they have drafted like hot garbage for several years. This past draft, McAvoy, good, Frederic bad. They just can't help themselves. The Boston Bruins could have this as a prospect pool... Boeser, Connor, Zboril, McAvoy and Asplund. Instead they have Zboril, Debrusk, Senyshyn, McAvoy and Frederic. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 14, 2016 Report Posted December 14, 2016 Since this was being discussed here... Brock Boeser is having wrist surgery and will miss the world juniors Quote
Thorner Posted December 14, 2016 Report Posted December 14, 2016 Pu is a year younger and both can play RW. Before someone comes in and gets all "Pu plays center Liger!" Point is both of the above players are righties so it isn't that. Plus, Pu may project to the RW position at the pro level given his propensity to play (and pass) right handed, as you previously proclaimed. Quote
