LGR4GM Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 Career AHLer. Nothing to see here. We do need a 4th line center... Quote
3putt Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 Lehner looks solid. Very little wasted effort. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 If Nelson isn't good enough to push Franson out of our top six, we will have many sphincter-clenching moments like Weber/Franson/Colaiacovo gave us last year. End this game right here boys, I have things to do. Quote
rakish Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 Career AHLer. Nothing to see here. Nonsense Quote

darksabre Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 revisit number 1 It's a preseason game. He's played six seasons in the A and done nothing in his callups. Just another guy. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 So who won? Bleacher Report reporting they lost 2-1. Quote
Eleven Posted September 28, 2016 Author Report Posted September 28, 2016 So who won? Were you shut out of TV as well? If so, there's a guy named Tony upthread who wants to talk with you. Sabres. OT. Some guy named Grant had an assist on the winner. Quote
Derrico Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 Blacked out for me. Was it no hockey sense McCabe with the winner? Quote
Hoss Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 (edited) I expect keen observations, enough of them to make people criticize you for looking too much into a preseason game. Have fun Hoss! Sorry to be a let down, but I was mostly just enjoying shooting the with some hockey fans. A few thoughts: - Grant and Moulson were the best non-goalies wearing blue and gold told - Lehner was very good. - McCabe was impressive. - Ennis satisfied me. Looked fast and confident with little hesitancy in his game. - Baptiste seemed to be easy to miss at times but he had a few moments that really caught you eye. Hard-working kid. - I literally don't know if Foligno played but if he did or didn't he did a poor job of playing or not playing - Fasching was using his body well but wasn't noticeable otherwise - A lot of these kids were playing it too safe. Take a few big swings! Three Fan Jersey Stars of the Night: 3rd star - Home white Perreault jersey (good, clean A+) 2nd star - John Scott All-Star Jersey (last year's AS sweaters should be some team's full-time kit) 1st star - Jean Dupuy Soo Greyhounds (that's some dedication) Edited September 28, 2016 by Hoss Quote
