GoPre Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Taylor is going deep on a play this drive. I'm calling it. It's going down on the first play.
Hoss Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 How in the hell is that not a late hit?
TrueBlueGED Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Taylor isn't playing great, but man, Baltimore's DL is schooling our OL. He's Trent Edwards :( How many pass plays has he had time to set and scan? 3?
Randall Flagg Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Taylor isn't playing great, but man, Baltimore's DL is schooling our OL. How many pass plays has he had time to set and scan? 3? His 1 yard pass on 3rd and 16, as well as when he broke the tackle when Bush missed the block, and several others that he didn't look anywhere but at Shady, when everyone knew it was coming. The line has been bad, yes, but between Roman and TT, they have not once found a way to use his only passing strength. Halfway through the fourth quarter, that's not acceptable.

Yep, if a qb doesn't have time what can you expect him to do? Being flushed out to the right w/ receivers on the left? Can't do anything w/ that.
TrueBlueGED Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Has Flacco even targeted Gilmore's man since that early catch? Total blanket. Hope we keep him.

Have to have time for receivers to get down field. Taylor is getting little time to do anything.
Randall Flagg Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Across the board, NFL teams commit so many special teams penalties. Either the coaches need to figure out, or the rules need to be changed.Stupid penalty by 94.
qwksndmonster Posted September 11, 2016 Author Report Posted September 11, 2016 Leverage? Is that the call? I remember that being called before a few years ago. Football rules gonna football rules.
TrueBlueGED Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Would anyone really care if special teams were completely eliminated?
GoPre Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 And this is why I like college football way more than the NFL. What a joke. Let them play!
Randall Flagg Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 It took us like 7 weeks to get this many sacks last season
TrueBlueGED Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 It took us like 7 weeks to get this many sacks last season  I'm going to use this comment to launch my "I told you Rex wasn't the problem" tour. You're all invited to my weekly tour stops! :D
GoPre Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) W/ about 5 minutes to play and 1 time out this could be the deciding drive. Bills gotta deliver. Baltimore may allow short yardage passes on this drive. Take advantage of it. If not, provide Taylor time and go deep. Edited September 11, 2016 by GoPre

TrueBlueGED Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 The recent penalties have weakened your stance again! I'm just talking about the defense man. He has plenty of warts as a head coach

Greater than the sum of their parts. So yeah, Tyrod didn't have time there. The previous throw to Woods, despite 11 being open further down the field, with all the time in the world, is the stuff I'm talking about. It's happened more than 5 times today, which isn't a lot, but is enough to where I'm pretty upset with him. That's what set up a long 3rd down on the next play where the line couldn't hold.
GoPre Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) Need a 3 and out on Baltimore's possession. Edited September 11, 2016 by GoPre
qwksndmonster Posted September 11, 2016 Author Report Posted September 11, 2016 0 shots down the field all game. Garbage offensive playcalling and/or execution by Tyrod. Also, absolutely no adjustments made to try and help the struggling O-line. Should've ran some screens and quick slants and such. Quick hitting plays.

Tyrod has been a bad game. When he does get time he hasn't been precise, at all. The offseason always makes you forget about a player's deficiencies, but this game was a quick reminder.
