darksabre Posted September 9, 2016 Report Posted September 9, 2016 Probably because the Sabres training has been sub-par pretty much forever? Quote
That Aud Smell Posted September 9, 2016 Report Posted September 9, 2016 Anyone have insight as to why? in Ripper. Probably because the Sabres training has been sub-par pretty much forever? It has? Quote
darksabre Posted September 9, 2016 Report Posted September 9, 2016 ######in Ripper. It has? Even when this team was good its overall fitness seemed suspect. Guys getting hurt on mundane plays, coming back from injury too soon, over-training, not training enough. I've often suspected that the team's overall fitness program was broken. How does a guy like Matt Moulson suddenly end up out of shape? Quote

How does a guy like Matt Moulson suddenly end up out of shape? Are the trainers responsible for maintaining the players' overall fitness? Huh. Maybe they are? I thought that was more strength and fitness coaching, but, looking at the website, it looks like Macre is in that same group. Swear to God: I thought of Rip Simonick as the trainer. He's the Equipment Manager, apparently. Time to log off. Quote

BuffaloBorn Posted September 10, 2016 Report Posted September 10, 2016 At least we still have Tom Bauerle look-alike clone George Babcock Quote
dudacek Posted September 10, 2016 Report Posted September 10, 2016 Been a lot of turnover in the hockey department. Not sure if that's normal for NHL teams, but it seems abnormal for the Sabres. Is my memory off, or clouded by Regier. Quote
sabills Posted September 10, 2016 Report Posted September 10, 2016 (edited) Hillary's email server? Even if so, over my head. Thats all I came up with too, but I don't see the application to the Sabres training staff... Been a lot of turnover in the hockey department. Not sure if that's normal for NHL teams, but it seems abnormal for the Sabres. Is my memory off, or clouded by Regier. Knowing Regeir he never wanted to get rid of them incase they turned out to be really good somewhere else. Edited September 10, 2016 by sabills Quote
