It means paralysis by over analysis. It's why people loved Pysyk because of his nice corsi stats. The eyeball check in which Pysyk played against other teams 3rd and 4th one only, never got any points and hit no one was generally ignored

I mean I pretend to be a curmudgeon when it comes to #fancystats, but I know analytics can be useful.

But for a GM?

The number of wins and losses works just fine, thank you very much.
