That Aud Smell Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 I think that if Evander is the problem than he did have these specific kinds of issues before Buffalo. You don't suddenly become violent towards women. Well, wait. There are matters of degrees. And worsening of problems over time. Quote
spndnchz Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 But we're talking Buffalo women... just sayin. HEY! Quote
Ducky Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 I thought he didn't drink? Could be mistaken... Maybe the ecstasy is better in Buffalo than Winnipeg? Beerme1, you really can't remember what the bet was? With so many promising young players and a bright future the headlines should be of that and them not #9 screwing up again. #9 was retired here but the wife beater gave Kane permission to wear it when asked. A retired number should remain retired. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 Agreed, Ducky. Thought he was a reputed non drinker. He clearly has other poisons. Quote
blugold43 Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 Agreed, Ducky. Thought he was a reputed non drinker. He clearly has other poisons. Holy crap...if he is acting that way at 3am without a drop of alcohol in him, then there's no hope... Quote

inkman Posted August 5, 2016 Report Posted August 5, 2016 Like my man Rick James once said .... I guess I'm cut from a different cloth but I can't imagine just using booger sugar. Its a party drug, I can't picture myself saying, meh...nows a good time to do some blow. To each their own I guess. Quote

Doohicksie Posted August 19, 2016 Report Posted August 19, 2016 Okay, with Jimmy Vesey off the table, that brings E-Kane back to the top of the off-season issues for the Sabres, innit? Quote
Sabel79 Posted August 19, 2016 Report Posted August 19, 2016 Whoever had 3.5 seconds in the "how fast does this thread come back to the top after Vesey signs" pool wins. No payout if it was, in fact, Robin... Quote
Weave Posted August 19, 2016 Report Posted August 19, 2016 Good. Now he'll be here for most of the season to play his way back to having value. Quote
Thorner Posted August 19, 2016 Report Posted August 19, 2016 2/3 of our top 6 is rock solid. The left side, however, is a big question mark. We've got Kane and Ennis. Both have their concerns for different reasons. We are all good down the line with the likes of Nylander on the way, but for next season, I'm still of the mind that without an upgrade at LW in the top 6, and potentially at D too, we will be an improving bubble team, but one that just misses the playoffs. Adding Nash and sticking him on a line with Eichel and Reinhart, and I'm a lot more confident, letting Kane and Ennis fight it out for the other spot. Quote
Eleven Posted August 19, 2016 Report Posted August 19, 2016 Okay, with Jimmy Vesey off the table, that brings E-Kane back to the top of the off-season issues for the Sabres, innit? No. Jiri Hudler. Quote
Thorner Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 No. Jiri Hudler. Can he play LW? Thought he was a RW. Quote
WildCard Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 No. Jiri Hudler.I'll take Kane over Hudler Quote
Eleven Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 I'll take Kane over Hudler I'll take them both. Look up Hudler's stats last year against Patrick Sharp. Quote
3putt Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Hudler would be a great add. His 5v5 numbers over the last 5 years are off the charts Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Hudler would be a great add. His 5v5 numbers over the last 5 years are off the charts Yup, gimme Hudler. I'd also still be interested in Nash if the Rangers move him cheap now, but not sure both teams could make the money work. Quote
Thorner Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Yup, gimme Hudler. I'd also still be interested in Nash if the Rangers move him cheap now, but not sure both teams could make the money work. Does Hudler ever play LW? Can only see him listed as a RW wherever I look. Quote
LGR4GM Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Does Hudler ever play LW? Can only see him listed as a RW wherever I look. Why do we need a LW? Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Does Hudler ever play LW? Can only see him listed as a RW wherever I look. No clue. He shoots left. That's all I got  Why do we need a LW? Because we have a whole bunch of uncertainty there right now? Quote
Sabel79 Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 (edited) No clue. He shoots left. That's all I got  Because we have a whole bunch of uncertainty there right now? I would argue that RW is at least equally problematic. Okposo, Gionta, crickets... Edited to add: this should probably read Okposo, crickets, Gionta...but you get my meaning.
