Stoner Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 April 3, 2006 The Sabres beat the Leafs 3-2 in a shootout at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, in the process clinching a playoff berth for the first time in five years. Martin Biron is very impressive in a rare start in place of the struggling Ryan Miller, and Maxim Afinogenov scores in regulation time and owns the only goal in the shootout.

Forgot about how that shootout never would have happened if there hadn't been a poor job of officiating after a dirty play that knocks Hecht out for weeks and weeks according to Lindy Ruff...
