nfreeman Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 As always, the question is whether it will happen, not whether you want it to happen/not happen. I voted "yes," although I have no idea what it will be. I just think GMTM knows his team isn't currently where he wants it to be, and he doesn't believe in sitting back and hoping it will get better on its own. Quote
3putt Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 I voted no, just to negate nfreemans vote. Quote
Taro T Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 We are considering signing Jamie McGinn to a 2 year deal a "big" move, right? ;) Quote
sodbuster Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 I voted "no." I do believe GMTM will make a notable move, however I don't think it'll happen in the next two days. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 I vote no, but even if he does, I fully plan on defining "big move" in a way that makes me correct anyway :D Quote
The Jokeman Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 I think a bigger question would be, does Vesey sign elsewhere first or do the Sabres sign someone else first? Quote
pi2000 Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Kane stays. Vesey doesn't budge. McGinn gets signed. Quote
WildCard Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 For who/what? Someone over in Anaheim, Colorado, or St.Louis Quote
The Jokeman Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) Anyone think that we could take a chance on Chris Stewart again? Edited June 30, 2016 by The Jokeman Quote
sodbuster Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Anyone think that we could take a chance on Chris Stewart again?Petey? Is that you? I'm only half joking though, because the thought actually crossed my mind earlier. I'm not sure we need him though. Quote

I'm not sure we need him though. Not for the top 6 but think he's a decent 3rd line guy who could push some of the young kids to produce and he did have some good chemistry with ROR in Colorado so he could help on the PP. Thorner Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Kane stays. Vesey doesn't budge. McGinn gets signed. As in he's waiting until the 15th of August (i.e. he's gone)? Quote

SabresBillsFan Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 If Vesey doesn't sign with the Sabres and still plans to test free agency then I hope somebody lays him the out. Quote
... Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 BTW, I would consider Vesey signing "a big move". Quote
pi2000 Posted July 1, 2016 Report Posted July 1, 2016 If Vesey doesn't sign with the Sabres and still plans to test free agency then I hope somebody lays him the ###### out. This is similar the Justin Schultz drama in ANA a few years ago. He was ANA property, but he choose to wait it out and signed with EDM. I remember being at an ANA/EDM game and asking my friend (who's a huge ANA fan), why the entire arena is booing that one guy every time he touches the puck. It was so loud, and it lasted for years and probably still happens whenever he's in town. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted July 1, 2016 Report Posted July 1, 2016 I voted "no." I do believe GMTM will make a notable move, however I don't think it'll happen in the next two days. Apparently McGinn switched his Twitter photo back to him in a Sabres jersey today. Quote
Stoner Posted July 1, 2016 Report Posted July 1, 2016 I say yes. It's been too quiet. You just know Tim is chafing at the bit. Quote
WildCard Posted July 1, 2016 Report Posted July 1, 2016 Isn't Schultz available? He looked good in their playoff run Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted July 1, 2016 Report Posted July 1, 2016 Vesey and McGinn are locks. You bring me great sadness. Quote
GoPre Posted July 1, 2016 Report Posted July 1, 2016 Vesey and McGinn are locks. it would have been sweet if you had a source. It's 4th of July weekend. I want a lot to celebrate. And yes, that still includes our Independence Day. Quote
