Brawndo Posted June 25, 2016 Report Posted June 25, 2016 (edited) With teams having the ability to speak to pending UFAs, it's time to kick this off. Kyle Okposo has multiple suitors, Detroit is on the list, Buffalo is not EDIT: Buffalo later added as a suitor From Arthur Staple Sounds like no shortage of suitors for Kyle Okposo now that UFA contact window has opened. WPG, STL, LAK, MIN, DET among them, source says. Edited June 25, 2016 by BRAWNDO
Hoss Posted June 25, 2016 Report Posted June 25, 2016 John Rosen: A Kings source has confirmed that the team has agreed to terms on a new contract with Trevor Lewis. Expecting it to be four years.
sabresith Posted June 25, 2016 Report Posted June 25, 2016 Glad we are not on Okposo list. Don't need another one of JT' s wingers. Especially after having pretty major eye surgery.
Brawndo Posted June 25, 2016 Author Report Posted June 25, 2016 From Arthur Staple Don't overlook BUF and FLA when it comes to Kyle Okposo either.
Hoss Posted June 26, 2016 Report Posted June 26, 2016 Alex Radulov could not find an NHL team and signed a deal back in the KHL. Kinda bummed about that one. Wanted to see him back here.
Weave Posted June 26, 2016 Report Posted June 26, 2016 (edited) Alex Radulov could not find an NHL team and signed a deal back in the KHL. Kinda bummed about that one. Wanted to see him back here. Sealed his fate with the games he played. The league could have used his talent. Hopefully the next Radulov sees that there is a price to be paid for it and doesnt spend half his career trying to play one league off against another. Edited June 26, 2016 by We've
spndnchz Posted June 26, 2016 Report Posted June 26, 2016 SDS/chz/freeman--time to pin this one? It's July?

Hoss Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 The report about Radulov signing back in the KHL has been pretty strongly denied but Friedman is convinced it is true. He's a reliable reporter.

Hoss Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) Pittsburgh did not give Justin Schultz a qualifying offer, making him a UFA Edited June 27, 2016 by Hoss
WildCard Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 Pittsburgh did not give Justin Schultz a qualifying offer, making him a UFAMy initial reaction is to sign me up for that
TrueBlueGED Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 My initial reaction is to sign me up for that Trade Franson, replace with Schultz...could help free up more space for Stamkos ;)
Randall Flagg Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 In Pittsburgh Schultz looked okay. In Edmonton he was Strachan-Messy Balls level bad, the only player I've ever seen clearly worse in his position was that time John Scott had to play defense for us. I think our team construct is a lot closer to Edmonton's than Pittsburgh's at the moment, so no thanks.
Hoss Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 Kyle Brodziak signs a two-year deal in St. Louis.

Hoss Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 The Bruins decide not to qualify Brett Connolly, former 4th overall pick. They traded two seconds for him a year and a half ago. Also non-tender Landon Ferraro.

Hoss Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) Devils non-tender Beau Bennett (acquired two days ago with a third) and Smith-Pelley. GM said they expect deals with them to be done before July 1st, though. Joe Colborne, Josh Jooris, Joni Ortio and Kevin Poulin among the #flames not given a qualifying offer. Michael Bournival non-tendered by the Habs. Edited June 27, 2016 by Hoss
