Wyldnwoody44 Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 This thread, is, well...... Exactly what i expected from you moptop bunch of hooligans!!! Quote
GoPre Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 So location trumps all. Glad that's settled. For Nashville it did. Quote
pi2000 Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 He's going to sign with Buffalo. I think he agreed to that a long time ago, even before we had his rights. All this delay is just to throw off any tampering talk. He also agreed to sign with NSH. Nashville isn't in the Boston. They didn't satisfy his list. fixed Quote
SwampD Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 He also agreed to sign with NSH. Did he? I thought he was just drafted by them. Quote
Doohicksie Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 And he told them he would sign. Then he didn't. Quote
ct fab Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 Speculation - poile said he did (prob to.save face) vesey and his agenf said they never said that. Good thing for Buf is that they never would meet with NAS. At least they met with BUF which means we're on his short list Quote
GoPre Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 (edited) 27 pages? Need to get an over/under going. More than a month until Vesey signs w/ a team. 43 Think the thread is going to be over 43 pages. Edited July 15, 2016 by GoPre Quote
jahnyc Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 Sure seemed that he was more animated talking about what it would mean to be a Bruin than the comfortable fit with Buffalo. Quote
LGR4GM Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 Better question, what blows Pi's brain more? Mathews playing well in Toronto or Vesey signing with anyone but Boston? Quote
pi2000 Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 Better question, what blows Pi's brain more? Mathews playing well in Toronto or Vesey signing with anyone but Boston? I've always said Matthews will play well his first few seasons. Once his ELC is up and he gets paid there will be a steep decline. As far as Vesey is concerned, I don't care where he signs as long as it isn't Buffalo. Quote
beerme1 Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 IMO Nylander is going to be a much better player than Vesey. Let's hope (regardless of whether Vesey ends up a Sabre or not). Vesey is much closer to being at his ceiling at present than Nylander is. For Vesey to be better when all is said & done, either Nylander busted, Vesey was a serious lare bloomer, or a combination thereof. Far more paths available to Nylander being better (says the guy that wants Vesey to sign & wanted a D @ 8). I think twas sarcasm Taro. Nowadays, though I'm never sure. Why wouldn't it be? Nashville's travel schedule is BRUTAL. It's great city and would be a tremendous place for a young dude but being a Western Conference team from TENNESSEE would suck out loud. AD my man long time no see. The avatar bro? Quote
JohnRobertEichel Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 Sure seemed that he was more animated talking about what it would mean to be a Bruin than the comfortable fit with Buffalo. Yeah, I think his heart is saying "Boston" even though his brain is saying "Buffalo." Quote
ct fab Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 He was talking, being led on, by a Boston reporter Quote
woods-racer Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 Just had a reliable source tell me the subject has been seen.......in a casino in Bermuda. I'll try to track this down. If anyone should have been on this like white on rice it's you! Quote
LTS Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 If anyone should have been on this like white on rice it's you! What about brown rice? Quote
LGR4GM Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 What about brown rice? WHITE RICE MATTERS!! sorry just trying to lighten the mood. Quote
7+6=13 Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 He was talking, being led on, by a Boston reporter Well then he's not as mature and Harvard smart as I'd hoped - he said almost everything the wrong way and basically disrespected 2 teams now. Unless you're a Bruins fan because it's obvious that's where he's going. Not that it matters because if you've got the talent - you've got the talent to play well in the NHL - but he sure didn't represent himself well in that interview. Quote

Not everyone can do well in some type of public it review. Some guy named Terry is terrible at. Quote
North Buffalo Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 Intelligence does not equate to maturity and emotional stability... most of Boston is this way, heck this board is a good representation of these issues Quote
kas23 Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 He was talking, being led on, by a Boston reporter But isn't this what a great interviewer is supposed to do? They say certain things to get people talking. If the interviewer brought up Boston and Vesey didn't become animated, he likely would've moved on to a different subject. This interviewer hit the jackpot with bringing up Boston. He did a great job because it really gives us insight into Vesey's thinking, which is what an interview is suppose to do. Quote

ct fab Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 I must have watched a different interview?? I'm a psychologist and couldn't read into much of what he was saying. He was complimentary to all and very vanilla. He's been coached up well. Quote
