beerme1 Posted June 22, 2016 Report Posted June 22, 2016 I always bitch about the lack of info about dates of things on the schedule and in particular the trade deadline as I always like to have tickets for the first game after the deadline. So props the NHL for this. 4. Dates and breaks Opening night is Oct. 12, and the final day of the regular season is Apr. 9. Christmas Break is from Dec. 24-26, and the All-Star Break is from Jan.27-30. The trade deadline, per Cap Friendly, is Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. ET. The league’s annual “Black Friday” showcase is loaded up, an 11-game slate including matinees between the Rangers-Flyers, Penguins-Wild, ‘Hawks-Ducks and Isles-Sharks. http://nhl.nbcsports.com/2016/06/21/nhl-releases-schedule-here-are-five-key-takeaways/ Quote
Taro T Posted June 26, 2016 Report Posted June 26, 2016 Surprised TO has as poor a ratio as they do. Other than HNiC games (which is big chunk of schedule) didn't expect they'd have many other scheduling requests that would negatively effect them. And, not related to your post; very disappointed the h&h w/ Boston @ the end of December doesn't have a home Tux'n'pucks game. Quote
Eleven Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 Only 2 preseason games in Buffalo... Good; that's only 2 preseason games that STHs have to pay for. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 So McDavid doesn't get a single minute of national television in the US in his first two seasons. Way to show off your future, NHL. Yeah yeah, I get that more people will tune in to watch Sid-Ovie over the Oilers. Still. Quote
