They'll give him three games after he finally paralyzes somebody.

Huckleberry Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 http://nhl.nbcsports.com/2016/10/07/oilers-cut-reinhart-from-camp-making-trade-with-isles-look-even-worse/ Chiarelly is really making some questionable moves with the oilers, Didn't know they gave up that much lol. Getting rid of yakupov I can understand a bit, but that was really low value coming back to.
darksabre Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Sounds like 12 weeks for Huberdeau That blows.
Hoss Posted October 9, 2016 Author Report Posted October 9, 2016 That blows. Panthers gave 3-4 months as the timeline so 12 weeks is the low end.
LTS Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 "Fail for Nail" was a thing. Ahh yes... I recall that. Of course they weren't winning anyway right so coming up with a slogan on how to lose just a few extra games isn't so bad.. we all know how that is. :)
Ducky Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Not even close, the kid they traded is an ECHL player, Armstrong made a steal here. At worst he loses a 2nd round pick. Yak has the last say in that and i wouldn't want him on my team. There's a reason he only brought back what he did. After Yak, 7 of the next 8 players drafted were D men...how would the Oilers look with Lindholm on their D?
Sabel79 Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Uh-oh, NHL offered Gudas an in-person hearing, which he declined. Suspension can go more than 5, but won't anyway.

After Yak, 7 of the next 8 players drafted were D men...how would the Oilers look with Lindholm on their D? Particularly in light of Hall, who is much better, only fetching what he did. Realistically there is probably a perceived stigma surrounding the Oilers failed core. Uh-oh, NHL offered Gudas an in-person hearing, which he declined. Suspension can go more than 5, but won't anyway. I never understood why players decline these.
Eleven Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Particularly in light of Hall, who is much better, only fetching what he did. LGR4GM Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Hammer being 6-8 games instead of the 15-20 minimum.
LGR4GM Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Dallas Stars sign Lauri Korpikoski to a 1 year deal worth 1million $$$ deal https://www.nhl.com/stars/news/stars-sign-lauri-korpikoski-to-one-year-contract/c-282525054
LGR4GM Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 This is also happening and I am a little surprised Arthur Staple @StapeNewsday 3m3 minutes ago #Isles will be placing PA Parenteau on waivers today, according to a source. Certainly a surprise there.
LGR4GM Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Get him? I would say yes but where would he even play? We have so many wingers come out our ears we can't find spots for them all.
Hoss Posted October 10, 2016 Author Report Posted October 10, 2016 (edited) I'd rather have Parenteau in the lineup than Moulson or Grant. Also: Winnipeg put goalie Ondrej Pavelec on waivers. LA waives Scuderi. Edited October 10, 2016 by Hoss
dudacek Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Pavelec is interesting. Who won the starter's job in the Peg?
LGR4GM Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC 6m6 minutes ago Hearing Ondrej Pavelec will be on waivers today. Question is if he will report to AHL Manitoba

TrueBlueGED Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 We should absolutely claim Parenteau.
Brawndo Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 (edited) DET puts Teemu Pulkkinen on waivers. Per McKenzie. Edited October 10, 2016 by BRAWNDO
