JJFIVEOH Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 A head coach wanting multiple duties never works out. Patrick, if you want to be in Hockey Ops, go be a GM somewhere and let somebody else coach.
That Aud Smell Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 Also, I can only imagine what a scramble COL is in now to get a coach for the start of the season.
WildCard Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 Also, I can only imagine what a scramble COL is in now to get a coach for the start of the season.Probably not a large one honestly
JJFIVEOH Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 Ah, nuts. That was an enjoyable tire fire. Well. At least they were poorly managed long enough so that we could pry ROR from them. The tire fire will continue when Sakic names himself head coach.
That Aud Smell Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 Probably not a large one honestly Training camps start about a month from today. Not having a HC at this time of the off-season is cause for a full-blown fire drill. Who's even out there?

beerme1 Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 LOL Mattpie. Teds Nolan was the first one I though of. Just what they need out there. Grigo would be inspired no doubt.
bcsaberks Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 :worthy: @mattpie Nolan vs Grigorenko rd 2. Probably just move the AHL guy up. San Antonio Rage - Eric Veilleux, though he doesn't appear to be very experienced.

LGR4GM Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 Oh man, Colorado's continuing implosion was such a joy to watch. I love that Roy wanted more character leader guys but he traded Ryan O'Reilly (Tim Horton's not withstanding) for 2 Russians with questionable attitudes, a Canadian with questionable attitude, and a draft pick. I will miss the antics of Colorado though, la sigh.
Norcal Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 Patrick Roy is a blowhard. Can't see him coachimg in the NHL again personally.

Hoss Posted August 11, 2016 Author Report Posted August 11, 2016 This might end up benefiting Colorado. Going to be interesting to see who they can poach this late in the game. Maybe they take Todd Richards out of Tampa before he coaches a game for them (he's an assistant there).

dudacek Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 The fun will continue when Bergevin and Therrien are axed next summer and the Roy era begins in Montreal.
That Aud Smell Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 The fun will continue when Bergevin and Therrien are axed next summer and the Roy era begins in Montreal. Oh, let that day come. And may it come SOON.
