Hoss Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 (edited) Incredible sequence of saves there from Martin Jones. Edited June 13, 2016 by Hoss Quote
Thorner Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 Jones vs Pens, round 2. Ding ding ding! Quote
Eleven Posted June 13, 2016 Author Report Posted June 13, 2016 At least it's an exciting game this time THIS GAME GOT WILD All of the games have been exciting, IMO. Mostly one-goal games (excepting the late EN goal). Quote
Randall Flagg Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 A Penguins fourth liner got a better chance while his line mates changed than San Jose got on a 3-on-2 with their stars, and then a breakaway, combined. Quote
Thorner Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 Sharks had comparably a much BETTER period, and they still got outshot 9-4. Quote
Hoss Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 San Jose's blueline has been terrible in the offensive zone this series. Mishandling pucks and having no patience to get shots through. Pittsburgh is doing a good job of getting in the way of shots, but it feels like Sharks dmen are panicking once a Pittsburgh player gets near them and goes down. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 Props to Polak for that play on Malkin at the end of the period. Malkin has torched much better defensemen in that exact position. Quote
Thorner Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 Jones just keeps making 10-bell save after 10-bell save. Sharks playing better this period. Quote
Eleven Posted June 13, 2016 Author Report Posted June 13, 2016 (edited) I really hate the NHL right now. I want to go to bed at 10, latest. They have had all weekend to play this game. They started it at about 830 tonight. And now I've got a tied game on my hands at 930. Edited June 13, 2016 by Eleven Quote
Hoss Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 San Jose dominated for the whole beginning of the period, scores and then Pittsburgh takes back control and the lead... Pitiful. Quote
Thorner Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 Sid with an all-world shift. And Letang too. Quote
... Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 A better period, but still not enough for SJ. Quote

Hoss Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 You are at least a whole minute ahead of my feed. Come watch with me and you can go to sleep earlier, Gramps. ;) Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 My first game I've watched in about 2 rounds, and San Jose looks bad Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 I just want to wake up to go to the gym, dammit! You should see San Salvador. I see what you did there.... Little Joe needs to score there Quote
Hoss Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 Pavelski with a yawning case and completely misses. He went from established star to nobody in a matter of a few games. Quote
Thorner Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 That non-shot by Kunitz may be the worst play I have seen a player make, given the circumstances. That was a gimme. It has the chance to go down in history as that, depending on outcome. Quote

Eleven Posted June 13, 2016 Author Report Posted June 13, 2016 (edited) I want to be up at 630. Ergo, I want to be in bed right now. I know this is repetitive, but dammit, NHL. Edited June 13, 2016 by Eleven Quote
