Eleven Posted June 10, 2016 Author Report Posted June 10, 2016 This is what happens when a city renames a street for its rookie goaltender before the series is over. Quote
darksabre Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 Pens will win it on Sunday so it doesn't matter. Quote
Stoner Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 Pens will win it on Sunday so it doesn't matter. Yep. They win their Cups on the road. Quote
Thorner Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 Yep. They win their Cups on the road. And acquire their Cusps at home. Quote
LTS Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 San Jose is using the rope-a-dope in honor of Ali. They are letting Pittsburgh skate and shoot so much in the first few games that they are going to be too tired to go all 7. I'll keep telling myself that. :) Quote
Hoss Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 So what's the feel around here? I know just about everybody still thinks the Pens close that out. But it seems like there's a feeling here and elsewhere that many now want the Pens to close it out (even those who were rooting for the Sharks to start the series). Is that he case? Would you like if the Sharks made a comeback? What about if the games continued to be mostly dominated by the Pens but the Sharks still end up taking the series? Quote

I think the Sharks push it to 7, but ultimately lose. I want them to win, and honestly still have hope that they will somehow start playing better. They dominated great and heavily favorited teams in the West, I think somewhere in there they can find their game back Quote

I actually now want the Pens to win to maybe convince GMs/coaches that a fast and fun offensive approach can win too. Also, if they lose, I'd find the "Corsi is dumb" shtick from old facts to be unbearable  Quote
beerme1 Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 I would like the Sharks to take this to 7 and win. But I don't think they can do it. I never wanted the Pens to win but can't see how San Jose actually pulls this out. Quote

I wanted Pittsburgh to win originally, but didn't care very much. That has changed considerably now. It annoys me greatly when teams that are getting vastly outplayed start pulling out wins. Pittsburgh has been the much better team, they deserve to win. If San Jose starts playing drastically better, I'd have less of a problem with them winning. Also, Couture is such a little sh*t. :) Quote
Thorner Posted June 11, 2016 Report Posted June 11, 2016 All of these days off in the final are kind of ridiculous.. Quote
SwampD Posted June 11, 2016 Report Posted June 11, 2016 All of these days off in the final are kind of ridiculous.. Hockey in June is already ridiculous. That fact that game seven could potentially be on the 15th is just stupid. Quote

Plus, it's killing anticipation, with such large breaks in between games. We had to wait 3 days for game 6. And if a game 7 is forced, it's another 3 day wait. Makes no sense. Quote

Hoss Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 Same old same old so far in this one. San Jose getting pushed around with the season on the line. Quote
... Posted June 13, 2016 Report Posted June 13, 2016 Same old same old so far in this one. San Jose getting pushed around with the season on the line. SJ is not playing a winning game, much like most of this series. They better "make adjustments"! Quote
