Who has the white stuff out there this MAY 15? Big flakes here in extreme northern PA, and occasionally fairly intense squalls. Not sticking yet. It's 34.

Here's the radar. You can see the odd pattern of snow over WNY. Southern Ontario, central and upper Michigan and the Adirondacks seem to be getting it too.

You guys do know that we get snow in Canada year round, right?

Nothing to see here.

We get it in America year 'round, too, but not around here.

I'm at universal studios and have been since Wednesday, it's a balmy 91 here and I don't want to come back home...luckily I'll be back for 3 days and then on to South America, so hopefully when I am fully back we will be over winter!!!

Been up and down the thruway today.  There were some light flurries early.  Had a good dose of graupel as we were pulling back into town.

Lotta dry heave hail storms today, with the regularity of one suffering from the flu.

It's sunny for this ten minutes, and I have run around the house opening blinds to catch every drop of sunlight.

Had to bring in all the damn plants... they are beginning to look in a sorry state without good sun. Probably won't put them out again until tomorrow evening. I hope they survive- I put time and money into my little apartment balcony container garden each year.

I'm going on record. I don't think I've ever seen snow after Mother's Day. On Mother's Day, but never after. Today was just gross.

According to currentresults.com, Buffalo averages 0.3" of snow in May.  Damned if I can find anything on what date had the latest snow fall.

A year passed: winter changed into spring, spring changed into summer, summer changed back into winter, and winter gave spring and summer a miss and went straight on into autumn...

Maybe I'll stay here...

Good call. I do note that Mothers Day was as early as it could be this year.

My mom mentioned that it snowed on my grandmother's 70th birthday (which would have been in the late 90s, I think), which was 5/25 (within a day or two).

Reason # 5327 why I am now and forever several hundred miles south of WNY. It snowed during my little sister's (outdoor) graduation ceremony at Geneso Memorial Day weekend 2004. Not much, just enough to make life miserable. No thanks.
