Sabres Fan in NS Posted May 23, 2016 Report Posted May 23, 2016 Chara ... signed mega deal as a free agent Suter ... signed mega deal as a free agent Those are two off the top of my head. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted May 23, 2016 Report Posted May 23, 2016 No because defensemen of Hedman's caliber NEVER are let near the market. If they were, they would, and if he does, he will, but he won't come close to being a UFA. Karlsson is not happy with ownership and I'd be comfortable betting that if he hits free agency he signs the largest contract given under the current CBA format, including Toews, Kane, Stamkos etc I have a new reason to not pay Stamkos: the dream of Karlsson hitting free agency. dudacek Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 So me and WC are both wrong. The last three superstar defenceman to reach free agency got insane contracts. Quote
ubkev Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Nice goal there. Pavelski from Thornton for those who aren't watching. Edited May 24, 2016 by ubkev Quote
Sabel79 Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 Note to St. Louis: You see number 8 in white? Maybe don't let him stand in front of the net all alone for as long as he likes... Quote
Norcal Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 0 for Tarasenko so far, need him if they have a chance For a while tonight both teams had it going. Fun to watch Last game Blues 4th line was all over the ice, tonight I hardly noticed them Good series overall IMO Quote
WildCard Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 A Sharks-TB final would be pretty sweet, especially if TB won Quote
MattPie Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 Has a single goalie ever sabotaged so many playoff teams? Garth Snow? Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 Garth Snow? :w00t: And then they made him GM and that string continues. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 Oh brother! This is stupid. The guy is way behind the blue line but his foot is in the air? That just should be on side Quote
SwampD Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 Oh brother! This is stupid. The guy is way behind the blue line but his foot is in the air? That just should be on side But it wasn't. It was pretty funny that they were playing "Let It Be" over the PA. Quote
Taro T Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 Oh brother! This is stupid. The guy is way behind the blue line but his foot is in the air? That just should be on side Interesting. Really thought the heel of his right skate was still making contact w/ the line when Hedman brought it in. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 Offsides challenges absolutely have to go next year! This has hurt the sport so much this year. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 Hmm looked onside You can make the argument he was. Most of his body was behind the line but his skate was in the air. That's just a silly off sides Quote
Norcal Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 (edited) Malkin whacked the heck outta Callahan, Callahan got him first but dang You can make the argument he was. Most of his body was behind the line but his skate was in the air. That's just a silly off sidesagreed. Silly rule Edited May 25, 2016 by Murray's Rats Quote
Eleven Posted May 25, 2016 Author Report Posted May 25, 2016 If I hear another early-20-something tell me "Letang means 'the Tang' in French" again, and if I don't punch that person, please consider it a personal self-control victory. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 Breaking news: Sidney Crosby is still good at the sport of hockey. Quote
Eleven Posted May 25, 2016 Author Report Posted May 25, 2016 Breaking news: Sidney Crosby is still good at the sport of hockey. Other breaking news: Sometimes series go seven. Every freaking hockey pundit in the world has Tampa-SJ, based on leads. (I'm willing to bet that fewer than 10% of them had that at the beginning of the semis.) Can we just hold on a minute? Quote
