Norcal Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Good for the Preds. Sharks v Preds should be a good one Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Anaheim sucks. Better fire the coach and trade all of their defensemen. Quote
dudacek Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Sharks, Preds, Blues or Stars in the final? Some fan base going to get redemption? Quote
Iron Crotch Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 I'm excited to see two or three more live playoff games! My seats are some of the best in the house (front row club level just to the right of the TV cameras). Go Preds! Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Did the puck leave Nashville's zone in the 3rd? I only vaguely remember a near empty net goal. Anaheim had so many near misses it was insane. It was like watching 15 Norwood kicks on ice. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 I didn't watch past the 1st, but it's weird to read that Anaheim's bad puck luck resurfaced at just the wrong small sample size. Quote
darksabre Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Listening to Preds radio broadcast. Pete Weber said, "It's 11 o'clock, do you know where your children are?". Then mentioned Irv Weinstein. Daaaa NaNa IRV! DaNa NaNa Na Quote
jsb Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Getzlaf and Perry have been pretty awful this series. The Ducks are being carried by Perron, Kessler, McGuinn and their solid d-corp. McGinn TOI was 6:33 and he played 1 shift in the 3rd period, I'm not sure what game you were watching??? Quote
Rasmus_ Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Good series match up's even with almost the entire central in the second round, lmao. Quote
WildCard Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 FWIW, we lost our 2nd round pick when the Ducks lost, so we ended up with a 3rd for McGinn Quote
Stoner Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 The Celtics had a playoff game at home that day as well, and the Sabres-Bruins Game was moved to the afternoon as a result. According to Budd Bailey's book History of the Sabres, Bowman was given the chance to start the series on the evenings of April 13 and 14 but turned it down, thinking his young team would have an advantage with the shorter turnaround on the 14th and 15th. Of course the younger legs lost that afternoon game. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 (edited) McGinn TOI was 6:33 and he played 1 shift in the 3rd period, I'm not sure what game you were watching??? I watched every game in the series, three of them in person. McGuinn was very good the entire series. He was mostly on the 4th line (with Chris Stewart) but scored two goals and hit a couple of posts. Edited April 28, 2016 by Potato Quote

I'm hoping the Sabres will upgrade to that point also. Des Girgs and Fasching to start the season would be quite a luxury I think Edited April 29, 2016 by Murray's Rats Quote

3putt Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 What a shot by Steve. The Caps are playing like it's the second of a back to back in February. It's the playoffs boys pick it up. Quote
Taro T Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 Jeremy Roenick just said "it looks like it's a sh**ty hockey game out there" while waiting to go to OT in the Caps-Pens game. McHugh's jaw just dropped. Quote

SwampD Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 Nope. That's awesome. I was doing something else and heard shi*ty and my ears perked up. I then thought, he had to have said shinny. What a dumbass. Quote
Taro T Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 And it looks like Oshie can score more than just in shootouts. Hattie if the OT goal isn't overturned. That's awesome. bob_sauve28 Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 Osie said they saw in video the goalie was aggressive and could beat him to far post. Do your home work! Quote
