I'm surprised that I feel this way now, but I think the franchise was on the right track when it went to the goathead in the new building. A new era. And it was a pretty sweet one. Wasn't there something about the white buffalo being a good luck symbol in native culture?

 

Would the Eichel duds instead of the slug, and the original uni as thirds, have been a terrible way to go?

Good. Then I don't feel bad pointing out that the shoulder patches should be the original logo either. ;)

I was.  I never liked the slug logo, but if it was a step to getting back to something more like the original uniforms, that's fine.  As bad as the slug was, it was 100X better than the red and black goathead unis.

I would accept the mockup above, but only as a 3rd.  And I can think of lots of other 3rds I'd prefer to see.

You guys are nuts. The color scheme takes a back seat to that putrid logo. The slug is and probably always will be the worst design they've ever come up with. Even the turdburger was better by the simple fact that it didn't have that disgusting slug on it.
