Randall Flagg
I saw Shaw mouth that in real time last night, I wonder how often that word is used on the ice.
Randall Flagg
I didn't catch the play, but Laughton was carried off on a stretcher. Really hope he's alright, sounds like it was an ugly collision with the boards.

WildCard
Huberdeau just left the ice real gingerly after scoring a collision goal with Griess God this league just sucks so much Edited April 21, 2016 by WildCard

darksabre
If you don't crash into the goalie skate-first your goal might be allowed and you won't get hurt. Huberdeau waited way too long to try to stop with a defender all over him. What did he think was going to happen?

darksabre
I don't understand what they're looking at. They already decided it was no goal. Are coaches allowed to challenge everything now? I'm pretty sure the refs just humored Florida by letting them waste their challenge on something they couldn't even challenge. Wtf.
WildCard
And another review. At this pace I'll see the next pitch by 11pm. Oh wait, we're supposed to be watching a fast, flowing sport? Huh, my mistake

They're making a mockery of this game. They kept their timeout. so feelings > health. Got it In the meantime, Abdelkader still never got a suspension. Best guess is that on a play that the ref loses sight of the puck AFTER the last contact of the puck w/ a force (or perhaps any "thing"?) and the puck subsequently ends up in the net it "could" be a good goal.

TrueBlueGED
I'm fighting a supreme inner conflict. I hate Dallas, I still haven't gotten over '99, and the thought of them getting another championship makes me somewhat ill. However, I really want the closest approximation of fire wagon hockey we have to be a huge success so maybe, just maybe, teams realize offense, speed, and aggressiveness can win too and we get some better hockey as a result. Thorner
Shaw gets a one game suspension for using a homophobic slur.He deserved it. Is anyone else tired of this "just the one guy" system being employed by the league/refs this postseason? I get why they do it, but it's such an extremely arbitrary way to potentially decide games, especially ones this important. LA and SJ were playing a great, tightly contested game, regular scrum ensues, Carter does absolutely nothing out of the ordinary in the scrum, and the ref does his "just the one" thing and awards SJ a PP. They score of course, grab the lead and all the momentum, and now it's 2-0. I know, "LA should stop them from scoring on the PP." No. They shouldn't have been put in that position by an arbitrary, undeserved call. The referee basically flipping a coin in his head probably decides the outcome in this game. Bleh.
