WanderingEye Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Ladies and gentlemen, we've done it. For the first time in eight seasons, we've gone the entire year without a single NHL appearance by Matt Ellis. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Great outlet pass by Rodrigues on that goal. I agree. I think he can make this squad next year Quote
Kruppstahl Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Ladies and gentlemen, we've done it. For the first time in eight seasons, we've gone the entire year without a single NHL appearance by Matt Ellis. Now to work on that pesky "qualify for the playoffs" problem.... Quote

Eleven Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 I'm sorry, did I just see some complete rook combine with a guy who's almost my age for a game winner? Quote
SwampD Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Now to work on that pesky "qualify for the playoffs" problem.... Baby steps. Quote

Damn a lot of hate about Matt Ellis- I don't care what anyone says but the guy is a true professional and I truly believe even fringe nhl players are solid. Most people don't even get that far. Quote
Beer Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Way to end the year with a win. This team has me feeling good about next season. I'm looking forward to the offseason moves. 81 points... Not too shabby. Quote

Taro T Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Gionta & Reinhart have to wear higher #'s next year. ;) Quote
DarthEbriate Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Good finish. And nicely done, Sabrespacers. It's been a enjoyable season. This is a fantastic virtual space to spend time. Next year --- real expectations! Quote

Robviously Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Awesome end to the season. For once the Sabres make a heroic late-season run that we can feel good about. Quote
Stads Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 I think Gionta did enough tonight, especially with everything at stake, to keep the "C" for next year. I'll hang up and listen. Quote
dudacek Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Thanks for sharing the season ladies and gents. Easily the best one to watch of the past four and probably a few before that. I'll be joining many of you elsewhere on the forum for a summer of speculation and reflection. The rest, I hope to see you in October. I like where this team is headed. Quote
