Randall Flagg Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 That may have been the worst non-call I've seen this season but I'm the only one that commented on it. Is what Prout did legal somehow? ...alrighty then. Quote
Tondas Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Things have happened when Rodrigues has been on the ice. A good first showing for him. Quote
SarasotaSabre Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 If getting to .500 is such a priority, why start a college goalie and a few minor league callups? If only you were lucky to be one of the 5,000 fans to arrive, you'd get a sweet mini-stick. As pointed out up thread, so much for an ill-conceived and ill-executed Fan Appreciation Night. Looks and feels like a preseason game. Quote
WildCard Posted April 9, 2016 Author Report Posted April 9, 2016 You would.not like.Saad on Jack's wing?I held quite the campaign for Saad last summer, as did Liger and others....alrighty then.Welcome to the club Quote
Kruppstahl Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Anyone else catch those crowd shots between whistles? The looks on all shown covered a range between apathy and tedium with some detachment worked in amongst the lethargy and lassitude. Quote

WildCard Posted April 9, 2016 Author Report Posted April 9, 2016 Consecutive periods of DD thinking Des on that line is okay is bad enough, let alone consecutive games Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Jack and Sam still want to play. Good stuff there. Love Samson throwing an elbow while getting in position for the screen. How can a rookie be so good at something that was never mentioned among his strengths/abilities as he was scouted in his pre-draft years? Quote
Kruppstahl Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 ...alrighty then. I thought it was a good non-call. :w00t: (Just kidding) Quote
WildCard Posted April 9, 2016 Author Report Posted April 9, 2016 I hate Schneider. And yes, that's based off of one game Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 I've never complained about cutting stats based on a time frame. I don't like cutting stats that highlight specific aspects of a player's game in order to make them look better or worse. But you're okay with cutting the dates for the purpose of making someone look better? That doesn't make any sense. If getting to .500 is such a priority, why start a college goalie and a few minor league callups? If only you were lucky to be one of the 5,000 fans to arrive, you'd get a sweet mini-stick. As pointed out up thread, so much for an ill-conceived and ill-executed Fan Appreciation Night. Looks and feels like a preseason game. I'm going to assume that part of getting Kasdorf to sign was that he'd get a start at some point. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Those are the same thing No, they're not. Not even close. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Gionta just labeled Colin Campbell's son. We can only assume Gionta will be found in a ditch off the 90 between Buffalo and Rochester after the season. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 McCabe had all the time in the world and just flung it around the boards, bleh. Exactly what I don't want my defensemen to do ever. Quote
WildCard Posted April 9, 2016 Author Report Posted April 9, 2016 No, they're not. Not even close. How? Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Rodrigues >>>>>> Schneider. And probably Moulson. McCabe had all the time in the world and just flung it around the boards, bleh. Exactly what I don't want my defensemen to do ever. And he does that kind of thing all the time. Just so careless and scatterbrained. I really don't get the general satisfaction with his game this year. Quote
WildCard Posted April 9, 2016 Author Report Posted April 9, 2016 Rodrigues >>>>>> Schneider. And probably Moulson. The lines for Fan Appreciation Night are actually shameful Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 When Matt doesn't bury passes like he just got from ROR, he has absolutely no business being in this league. Quote
3putt Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Erod Jack And Sam had some jump. DD please give us a look. Its effin fan effin appreciation night fer fecks sake. Quote

The looks on all shown covered a range between apathy and tedium with some detachment worked in amongst the lethargy and lassitude. That's the look of "It's April and I should have been torn between going to a Sabres game or going out and enjoying the spring weather. But it's 25 and snowing and somehow watching this team lose 4-1 is still a better option". Quote
Kruppstahl Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 When Matt doesn't bury passes like he just got from ROR, he has absolutely no business being in this league. Didn't you hear RJ? He was foiled. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 The lines for Fan Appreciation Night are actually shameful I honestly don't have a problem giving Schneider a look against a horrible team. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Jake, give that to the other point man, there was no one within 20 feet of him. Don't just fling it along the freaking boards. Rodrigues >>>>>> Schneider. And probably Moulson. And he does that kind of thing all the time. Just so careless and scatterbrained. I really don't get the general satisfaction with his game this year. So frustrating. Quote
WildCard Posted April 9, 2016 Author Report Posted April 9, 2016 (edited) I honestly don't have a problem giving Schneider a look against a horrible team. They've had plenty of opportunities before this I give him, Kasdorf, and Rodrigues opportunities to play. Tonight was the wrong night to do it Edited April 9, 2016 by WildCard Quote

I do get that vibe watching these games in Buffalo. It's "something to do" for a sizable contingent of the crowd, or so it seems. Quote
