The Devils are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games. Buffalo is 6-2-2. The Devils are a -24 GDiff and Buffalo is a -21 GDiff. Cory Schneider has returned from injury but as we all know Robin Lehner is out for the season.

Adam Henrique - 28g, 20a, 48pts

Travis Zajac - 14g, 28a, 42pts

Michael Cammellari - 14g, 24a, 38pts

Sabres top 4

With Evander Kane out and potentially ROR, Brian Gionta would be our 4th leading scorer with 10g, 21a, 31pts

If Buffalo is able to pick up five points over its past three games, they can finish .500 with 82 points.

They've come a long way since starting the season 3-7-0.

"I maybe underestimated the distance we had to travel to get to that mentality where we thought we could win games whether we're on the road in a tough place to play, whether we're playing a tough opponent where we know we can go out and win a hockey game," Bylsma said.

Justin Bailey called up in case ROR can't go. DB said they will see how ROR feels at morning skate. After Bailey's call up, they have three remaining to use for the weekend.

For the love of God, even if ROR is playing, just bench Deslauriers or COR and put Bailey with Eichel.

As fun as the Rangers game was, this will be the opposite. NJ still NJ. Slow dull game.

ROR says he is good to go

According to Bylsma, O'Reilly and Brian Gionta (ill) will be game-time decisions. Eichel is in. Chad Johnson starts vs Schneider

If Gionta and ROR can play, Bailey cannot as he is an emergency recall.

82 points =/= .500, 41 wins does.

I agree. There will be no less than 20 teams with 82 points. There could possibly be 23 teams with 82 points.

The 23-29 point improvement over last year is impressive, however. Not to mention the 31 ROW's compared to last year's 15.

I have a meeting with a kitchen designer for new cabinets at 7:30 tonight.

Close, but I can't drink beer during the meeting.

Gionta was in a pregame ritual with teammates kicking around a soccer ball, have to assume he is in tonight.

Gionta, R.O'Reilly, Eichel and Bailey all in warmup. One extra dressed
