WildCard Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Linus Ullmark. (cool gif) Seriously though. this noise, let the reign of Ullmark begin Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Does this mean Chad gets the 3 year contract he's probably looking for? Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 I feel bad for Lehner and I hope he recovers. He still doesn't pass my eyeball test. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Hasn't Ullmark been struggling recently in Rochester? And with all of his flopping around in the crease, I guess I'm hesitant to declare him the savior. Quote
nfreeman Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Does this mean Chad gets the 3 year contract he's probably looking for?  Not a chance. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Does this mean Chad gets the 3 year contract he's probably looking for? I certainly hope not. Johnson has been alright, but he's not somebody you tie yourself to for three years. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Brock Boeser - 26g, 28a, 54pts in 40games, Univ. ND Quote
WanderingEye Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Does Lieuwen see any action for the remainder of the season, or is it a heaping helping of the big Johnson? Quote

And with all of his flopping around in the crease, I guess I'm hesitant to declare him the savior. He hasn't been fantastic, but I still have a ton of faith in him. He reads the puck excellently through traffic, and his mobility got a lot better as the year went on Quote
Brawndo Posted March 30, 2016 Author Report Posted March 30, 2016 Does Lieuwen see any action for the remainder of the season, or is it a heaping helping of the big Johnson? They only have one remaining back to back, I think it will be Johnson all the way. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Why does it have to be one vs. the other? Â I'm confident that at least one of them will pan out. Â It doesn't, but many seem to be much more willing to give Ullmark and his issues the benefit of the doubt than Lehner and his issues, which is what I really don't understand. I'm skeptical of both. LGR4GM Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 What about kid from ND? Just wanted to mention the player we would have drafted. A little update so to speak. Quote

I'm skeptical of both. Ullmark is a younger, unknown talent who's only glimpses in every league have been very good, besides Rochester. Lehner cost a first rounder, has been hurt almost this entire year, and is a little older with good stats but nothing that will blow you away; we pretty much know what we're getting in Lehner Quote
3putt Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Brock Boeser - 26g, 28a, 54pts in 40games, Univ. ND Colin White 36gp 19g 23a 42 for Boston College. That is who The Sens took with the Lehner pick. Bowser went 2 picks later. After Samsonov. Quote
WildCard Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Interesting tweet from Harrington. Lehner has played only 1 more game than months since he's been hurt in Ottawa. 21 games over 20 months Quote

I believe the floor has been shown, but the ceiling (if there is one) is still unknown. The entirety of what we saw from him was done while battling injury. Â Still hoping it turns out the Sabres have the Swedish equivalent of Price & Halak; but right now neither has proven to even be Neuvirth. Halak seems to be a reasonable projection for each at this point. Waaay too small a sample size to say Price on either. Â W/ only 5 games to go, would be shocked to see Ullmark up barring an injury/illness. Quote

I don't think we would have drafted Samsonov and Boeser was and still is higher on my list than White. I suppose it doesn't matter. Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Pretty sure you're the only one who thinks Johnson is the answer Yeah, silly me for not wanting to go into 2016-17 with a legitimate shot at the playoffs with two question marks in net. Quote
sodbuster Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Has Kasdorf been totally ruled out for the season? Quote
