Tondas Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 If the Wings are a playoff team than so are we. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 A good learning experience for our team. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Might have had a chance for a win if they decided to play like that the first 57 minutes. Quote
SwampD Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 That was awesome. Detriot! They are done. They are an easy first round out. I like my team again. Quote
Norcal Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Does anyone else ever think about the fact the dude from South Detroit is boarding a midnight train going ANYWHERE. Anywhere but South Detroit, but those idiots sing it every home win. em Quote
Nitro60 Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 McGuire annoys me. Good effort at the end. Sabres will be a better team next season. This is a team on the rise. Quote

ubkev Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Jack played poorly in the final minute. Quote

CallawaySabres Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 The sharks kings game 5 seconds in is louder than any Sabres game in the last 5 years Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 I know we scored at the end a couple of times but we didn't deserve that game.... Quote
Brawndo Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 On a positive note we just assisted with the elimination of any Canadian Team making the playoffs. Quote
Mustache of God Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 I took a shower after the empty net goal...sounds like I missed all the fun :( Quote
sodbuster Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 My fantasy league commish just called me at the end of that game to ask how to score an assist by a referee, and he isn't even a Sabres fan. Quote
... Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Well, the Sabres didn't come to play. Jack Jack had a bad game, but Nelson looked pretty good for his second game. I would have liked to see them come to play, but, in truth, I'm all right with them playing for their draft position. Wins or losses down the stretch here, either are fine. I want to see Fasching have another good game or two, and I want Jack to get goals. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 As was mentioned earlier in this thread, we again tried to play a fast Detroit team, one that is now desperate for the playoffs, by sitting back. Detroit feasted on our left side in particular on their zone entries. Honestly, we could use 3 LHD upgrades next year. I know that's entirely unreasonable to ask for. I really do think we still need at least one top six winger. The second power play unit is where that absence shows the most. Upgrading the entire fourth line would be great too.Samson with a wicked shot at the end, same with Zemgus. Nelson had two nice passes for them. Really hope Kane is fine and back tomorrow. I am very glad we don't have to play Detroit again until next year. I cannot stand watching them play, and will be rooting for them to lose out the rest of the way so I don't have to avoid any playoff games like I do theirs every year. I don't think I've watched them play a team that isn't the Sabres since their last cup finals appearance and it appears that even the loss of Babcock hasn't changed their ways. So, I'll say it one last time this season: the Red Wings. Quote
Brawndo Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Bill Hoppe @BillHoppeNHL 39s 40 seconds ago Dan Bylsma just told reporters in Detroit Evander Kane is day-to-day and likely won't play tomorrow in Pittsburgh. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 I see no reason to even consider getting Lehner back in net the rest of the year. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 I see no reason to even consider getting Lehner back in net the rest of the year. I think they probably decided that the day he was injured and a top 5 pick was still on the table Quote
Mustache of God Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 I see no reason to even consider getting Lehner back in net the rest of the year. How drunk do you think I would have been if I told you Chad Johnson would probably have 20 wins when the season was over right before the 1st game if the season? Quote
