Best brunch in Buffalo

Hey- headed to the game Saturday with a big group, we were wondering where's the best place for brunch in Buffalo somewhat near the arena? Any suggestions ?

My wife went to a place in the Larkin district a few months back that she raved about, I'm sure someone here can help with the name. I always liked Gabriel's Gate for brunch back in the day.

 

Edit: heard back from the wife, Hydraulic Hearth is the brunch place in Larkin district.

Based on the fact that its about the only restaurant there at the moment, I'm going to assume Hydraulic Hearth

There's a pretty good one (or was a few years ago) off Elmwood. Betty's, on Virginia just west of Elmwood.

Yep, I've only been down there once myself to visit Flying Bison.

Brunch-ish sport near the arena? That is a bit of a tough one.

 

Hydraulic Hearth is terrific, btw. Not sure what they'll be offering on Saturday at the brunch hour.
