LGR4GM Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 00. Banned league wide because statistics and poor Marty Biron. Quote
MattPie Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Â They retired that number NA - sports-wide for me. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 99 Â i chuckled. Â it calls to mind: in youth sports (not hockey, as far as i know), there are many kids who pick #99 - probably without any sense of who gretzky was/is. there's a dad of a kid on a team where i have a kid, and he's from canada, played the game at a fairly decent level (not major juniors or anything), yadda yadda ... and it makes him NUTS when he sees a kid wearing #99. and it makes me laugh to see him getting angry about it. sodbuster Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 They should give him a blank jersey right off the rack. Make him REALLY earn his number. Hell, make him earn his name, too. Quote

I'd give him a jersey of a hated Sabre, like Connolly or Leino, and make him earn the right to have that name taken off. Quote

COR uses #19 and Reinhart has #23 so while he could be forced to have their name we would still need a number, unless he literally has to earn a number and name in which case the blank Leino jersey it is. Stads Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Blank Leino would motivate me the most to work my a$$ off. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Blank Leino would motivate me the most to work my a$$ off. Blank Hodgson would do it for me. He was so disappointing. Quote
Stads Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) Blank Hodgson would do it for me. He was so disappointing. How dare you besmirch the good name of Cody Hodgson. He led this team in points one year. Edited March 23, 2016 by Stads Quote

inkman Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Blank Hodgson would do it for me. He was so disappointing. My lord is it nice to know he's not associated with the Sabres other than a minor blip on the salary cap. Quote

Yep he had 44 points in 2013-2014. Some dark times for sure. This is completely off topic, but can anyone name the 6 goalies who made appearances in 2013-2014? Edited March 24, 2016 by Stads Quote
blugold43 Posted March 23, 2016 Author Report Posted March 23, 2016 I don't think it happens, but I'd love to see him in #41... Quote
