Norcal Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Gionta has been a good soldier. He's a consummate pro, its one more year. It's not Moulson. ###### he's been a turd.Agree on both. A younger, faster and more skilled player would be nice though. I can see Fasching on that line actually. Quote
Rasmus_ Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Okay Blue and Gold about Rob Ray putting ###### in his button down ....wtf cares. Wow this makes drinking fun. A new drinking game begins. Edited March 22, 2016 by TheCerebral1 Quote

SwampD Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 What's the deal with Colo's first goal ever against Washinton, ten years ago? He didn't want to talk about it Quote

hockeyhound Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) Yea Gionta's been fine since Bylsma stopped feeding him 22 minutes and forcing him into the top-6. His offensive skill has clearly eroded, but he can still skate and has good defensive awareness. If you were GM would you hang onto Gionta or do you look for an upgrade. I agree that Gionta can still skate; however, I have noticed he gets bounced around and finds himself on his back easily. I'd like to see someone on that third line that can be stronger on his skates. Let's Go Buffalo! Edited March 23, 2016 by hockeyhound Quote

I'd like to see someone on that third line that can be stronger on his skates. In a perfect world you'd get a little better, but honestly, he's got 27 points mostly from the 3rd line, can kill penalties, and play defense. Though not perfect, he's been very effective on the 3rd line. He's also the captain and has a $4.5M cap hit. There are way bigger fish to fry this offseason. Like I said in an earlier post, our 3rd line is the one area of the team I'm comfortable going into next season with. Quote
Rasmus_ Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Did Duff, just say Rob Ray I don't know whats in your pants.................god I just spit out expensive scotch. Quote

MODO Hockey Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Great! A bit busy with school, but I can't complain. How've you been? I've been good buddy. Life is hectic, alot of work. Gonna be off work for 2 weeks after this upcomming weekend, and that i will celebrate with two bottles of red wine, buffalo sabres jersey and a good game! :D Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Foligno won't be as good next year. I'm also worried about this, and I'm open to moving him because of it...but if a worthwhile trade doesn't materialize, I'm penciling him in on the 3rd line. If he drops the ball we have other options for that line on the left side. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 I love how Des/Kane/ROR crash the net. Most of their shifts seem to be played within 10 feet of the net. Quote
