Stoner Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Breakout from the Awesome thread... What word is not spoken by Rick Jeanneret in his famous May Day call? (For the purposes of this question, the call starts with "tipping it up" and ends with "second round." Bomb. Mob. Bonkers. Stop. Quote
Neo Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) Bomb. I can listen and cheat, but I'm not. Your resourcefulness and effort deserve acknowledgment in the form of participation. Here it comes - grateful! Edited March 10, 2016 by N'eo Quote
Neo Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 A little less soloist, a little more choir voice! I'm here every day! Quote
Weave Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Overtime continues... I'd guess, but that is all it would be is a pure guess. I'll let someone who thinks they might be right take an unsullied shot at it. Quote

Stads Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 Instead of starting another thread, I'll post some random trivia here. Which two players had a positive +/- last year? I'll keep finding more questions to pose if people want. Quote

Stads Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 Risto is close with a -32 so good guess. The answer is two defenseman who didn't play that much. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 Risto is close with a -32 so good guess. The answer is two defenseman who didn't play that much. Pysyk got a few games in, didn't he? Pysyk and Bogosian? Quote
Stads Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 Rudy it is. Big game winner for the Amerks tonight. Quote
Stads Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 (edited) Let's talk about better days and focus on 2006-2007. In the playoffs that year, one player had no points at all. That's not exactly true. Daniel Paille played one game with no points. This person played all 16 games. As a bonus, which two forwards, that played 15 and 16 games respectively, had no goals? Ryan Miller, he had no points I'm going with Roy and Campbell with no goals? Quote
Stads Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 It wasn't meant to be a trick question so Miller is incorrect. An actual skater played all 16 and had no points. Roy is also incorrect and Campbell is n/a by not being a forward. Quote

He's a good guess. Edited March 24, 2016 by MattPie Quote

I got impatient and looked it up. This shouldn't give anything away, but: For all the injury issues we had on defense the previous year, remarkably only six defensemen dressed in the '07 playoffs (each playing all 16 games)! Quote
