Breakout from the Awesome thread...

What word is not spoken by Rick Jeanneret in his famous May Day call? (For the purposes of this question, the call starts with "tipping it up" and ends with "second round."

Bomb.

Mob.

Bonkers.

Stop.

Bomb.

I can listen and cheat, but I'm not.

Your resourcefulness and effort deserve acknowledgment in the form of participation. Here it comes - grateful!

Overtime continues...

I'd guess, but that is all it would be is a pure guess.  I'll let someone who thinks they might be right take an unsullied shot at it.

All four words were never spoken by RJ.

Thanks for playing! We have some parting gifts for you backstage, including a year's supply of Rice a Roni.

Instead of starting another thread, I'll post some random trivia here. Which two players had a positive +/- last year? I'll keep finding more questions to pose if people want.

I can't even remember who was on the team. Umm Zemgus and Risto?

Let's talk about better days and focus on 2006-2007. In the playoffs that year, one player had no points at all. That's not exactly true. Daniel Paille played one game with no points. This person played all 16 games. As a bonus, which two forwards, that played 15 and 16 games respectively, had no goals?

Ryan Miller, he had no points

I'm going with Roy and Campbell with no goals?

It wasn't meant to be a trick question so Miller is incorrect. An actual skater played all 16 and had no points. Roy is also incorrect and Campbell is n/a by not being a forward.

Peters is a possibility, although I'd be surprised that he dressed all 16 games. Wait, was this the Tim Kennedy era of Sabres hockey? He's a good guess.

Wow.  I got impatient and looked it up.  This shouldn't give anything away, but: For all the injury issues we had on defense the previous year, remarkably only six defensemen dressed in the '07 playoffs (each playing all 16 games)!

Were you surprised at which forwards had no goals?
