Doohicksie Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) Just win, baby! The Sabres are starting to look good lately, doing everything right even if they can't get the goals to go. Well guess what? Tonight the goals will come. I'm not WC so I'm not going to compose an epic poem to introduce the game. We are all familiar with the Habs, a team that after a hot start could conceivably be surpassed by your Buffalo Sabres. Both teams are 4-4-2 in their last 10 games so there's no reason we can't beat these guys. The lineups will look like this: Look for Lehner to get another chance to prove himself. I hope he does, cuz I like the idea of having a goalie with some fire. His Moe Ray Al counterpart is expected to be Mike Condon. Egg's Hot Player for tonight's game is Marcus Foligno. If Marcus scores a goal, you can remember where you heard it first. Boobs. Edited March 10, 2016 by Robin Egg Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 BOOBS!! (bet you thought no one would notice) GO SABRES!! Quote
GoPre Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 BOOBS!! (bet you thought no one would notice) GO SABRES!! Are you kidding? That was the best part of his post! In all seriousness, great work on the GDT Egg. Quote
Cereal Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 What happened to Brian Flynn? Looked it up -- Lower Body Injury, 6-8 weeks, about four weeks ago. Less go burrs Quote
dudacek Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Holy crap, what has happened to the Habs? That is one sketchy lineup tonight. I count 13 players who are either unproven prospects, or proven fringe NHLers. And tell Mike Brown to turn around. (Nice work Egg. Wild Card=antics again?) Quote

Are you referring to the Habs, or Sabres, perhaps both? Quote

That habs line up looks worse than Toronto's and that is saying much. Quote
pi2000 Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 A regulation win puts Buffalo 3 points behind the Habs, and 10 points out of the final wild card spot. Is that what we want? Yes!!! (?) Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 We are seeing a Habs team that has finally fallen. Not sure if Price will help right that mess next season but they are weak down the middle, weak on the wings, they lack depth almost everywhere. I heard they are talking about trading Glachenyuk, their only center besides Plekanec. They are becoming Toronto East. Quote
#freejame Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Galchenyuk has been on fire for the Habs since moving onto the first line (who would have though, certainly not Therrien). I'd like to see him and Eichel have a strong game against each other for the sake of USA Hockey. Go Sabres! Quote
WildCard Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 I really hope they implode before next season, because a Habs team, even as is, with Price will lock up another playoff spot that we could have Quote

That Aud Smell Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Hoping for a much better game from Lehner tonight. Lehner is inspiring (?) me to consider "Gaping Five Hole" as my fantasy football team name for 2016. Please, Robin. Don't prompt me to do it. Quote
Kruppstahl Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) A regulation win puts Buffalo 3 points behind the Habs, and 10 points out of the final wild card spot. Is that what we want? Yes!!! (?) No! A triumphant run to a highly placed non-playoff position is a waste of an opportunity. We want to go in the other direction, gracefully! We need more pieces. (PS: I hate the Habs so I hope we kill them, but still) Edited March 10, 2016 by Kruppstahl Quote
Brawndo Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) Sabres: 10-3-0 in their past 13 games in Montreal and 16-7-2 in their past 25 games against Habs. They haven't made the playoffs since 2011. From Arpon Basu Edited March 10, 2016 by BRAWNDO Quote
LTS Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Sven Andrighetto - what a name.... Other than that the Habs can bite it. Hoping for a Sabres win! I need some positives right now... Quote
