darksabre Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Oh Samson. You can't get much closer to a goal than that. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 I'd have gone Risto over Kane, but these SO choices are okay. So close Samson :( Quote
SwampD Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 That was a nice move by Coyle A poke check would have solved it. Quote
darksabre Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 I don't understand why I can't just have Eichel Samson Ristolainen in the shootout. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 I don't understand why I can't just have Eichel Samson Ristolainen in the shootout. To the Bylsma thread! :D Quote
SwampD Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Perfect. There was just so much dumb hockey by our guys in the third and OT that I just don't care. Quote
GoPre Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 :censored: Kane again! Loss belongs to him. Guy had 4 great chances today. Quote
clintwestwood Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Reinhart hitting the post makes me sick, Pysyk missing that pass makes me sicker, and Pom scoring the winning SO goal makes me sickest. Quote
WanderingEye Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Unfortunately for Kane, the net is NOT empty during a shootout. Quote
SwampD Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 BREAKING NEWS: Swamp supports tanking :P When done right, yes. Starting two seasons with it as the goal, no. From the trade deadline on, sure, why not? Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 :censored: Kane again! Loss belongs to him. Guy had 4 great chances today. I think that's pretty harsh. Sure you want Kane to finish a chance or two, but he was a force today and made a number of smart plays. Quote
GoPre Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Unfortunately for Kane, the net is NOT empty during a shootout. He'd still find a way to not capitalize. I think that's pretty harsh. Sure you want Kane to finish a chance or two, but he was a force today and made a number of smart plays. You are correct on that, but come on. If the guy buries just one of his chances the Sabres get the win. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Entertaining game... wish we'd finished it. Until next time. Bring my shuttle. Quote
Stoner Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) The Hockey Gods get Saturday off, so Dylan the Intern was on duty today. Now, he didn't have as much to work with as The Gods had Oilers-Sabres, but he did a nice job anyway. One of the centerpieces of the Sabres' rebuild gets hands of stone in the overtime and shootout, and one of the former Core sticks the dagger in and twists to finish things off. Dylan is going places! Edited March 5, 2016 by PASabreFan Quote
Brawndo Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Brian Koziol @BrianWGR 3m 3 minutes ago Eichel: "Coach looked down the bench and asked if I wanted to go (in SO) and I said yeah" #Sabres Eichel now 1 of 4 in SO this year So maybe Jack has been refusing to go out for the shootout Quote
GoPre Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 And if Psysk could've hit Eichel for a breakaway pass in OT the game could have been over. Damn, doing to many what if's now. Really hoping the Sabres can land a puck moving defenseman. Risto made a fantastic pass to Kane to set him up for a breakaway. If only Psyk could've done the same for Eichel. Quote

darksabre Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Kane not happy with his inability to score. Me too Evander, me too. Quote
Norcal Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 *auto correct* to pommenstien for some reason. Weird Quote

Did he get tangled up a bit with the linesman? Quote
GoPre Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) Did he get tangled up a bit with the linesman? Not talking about the no call near the end of regulation. Edited March 5, 2016 by GoPre Quote
Stoner Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Not talking about the no call near the end of regulation. I'm referring to the Pysyk situation in overtime. Quote
