DarthEbriate Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Kane. <headdesk> Do we have an emoji for that ...? Yes we do. :wallbash: Quote
French Collection Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Matty Mo will score against his "old" team, busting the slump. Unusual to see a young forward like Couyle with number 3. Quote
Mustache of God Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Turned the game on late and caught the last 5 minutes of the 1st Don't think I saw the Sabres havery possession of the puck in the Minnesota zone once. Has it been that way all period? Quote
... Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Friday nights are ice-cream party nights at Moulson's house. I don't think they've skated off all of the fun from last night yet. Quote

Stoner Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 The radio call of Minny's goal... oy. I heard the puck hit something, it was that distinctive dead clunk sound, and I instantly knew the puck was in. Dunleavy said it had hit the side of the net, then a few seconds later went into his patented, "And the puck is in behind Lehner and Minnesota has a 1-0 lead" deal. Then Petey kept delaying waiting for a challenge that didn't come. I have no idea who shot the puck, where the shot came from, how it went in... Just dreadful radio. Seriously, just play the ice level sound. I will figure the rest out. Quote

The puck hit the post, rebounded out then hit Risto's skate to go in through the 5 hole. so, even watching it was a little awkward trying to figure out what happened. Quote

Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Is it just me, or did that first period go by very quickly ... not many stoppages? Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Is it just me, or did that first period go by very quickly ... not many stoppages? You, sir, are correct. And I love this Larsson line. Seemingly every time I look, they're in the opponent's end. Quote
darksabre Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 More dumb coaching by Bylsma. Delo-Cor-Girgs get the puck in and get a face off, which is their job. Then they don't come off in favor of a scoring line. Wtf. Quote

darksabre Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Larsson - Cal O'Reilly - Reinhart? Wtf? Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 The last 5 minutes of the 1st were pretty bad, but we've been excellent keeping the puck in their zone this period. Now the chance on the double minor. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Really happy to see Larsson on the PP and score, of course. But I'm still going to complain about Cal O'Reilly occupying the spot Eichel should be. I mean, seriously? Quote
