Friday nights are ice-cream party nights at Moulson's house.  I don't think they've skated off all of the fun from last night yet.

Turned the game on late and caught the last 5 minutes of the 1st

Don't think I saw the Sabres havery possession of the puck in the Minnesota zone once. Has it been that way all period?

Nope. The Larsson line was doing its thing on multiple occasions.

The radio call of Minny's goal... oy. I heard the puck hit something, it was that distinctive dead clunk sound, and I instantly knew the puck was in. Dunleavy said it had hit the side of the net, then a few seconds later went into his patented, "And the puck is in behind Lehner and Minnesota has a 1-0 lead" deal. Then Petey kept delaying waiting for a challenge that didn't come. I have no idea who shot the puck, where the shot came from, how it went in... Just dreadful radio. Seriously, just play the ice level sound. I will figure the rest out.

To be fair, no one on the ice had any idea the puck went in either. It was a weird sequence.

The puck hit the post, rebounded out then hit Risto's skate to go in through the 5 hole. so, even watching it was a little awkward trying to figure out what happened.
