WildCard Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Yeah Rinne over Rask was a terrible move They beat Europe twice, pretty easily each time. They did? Huh, I thought Europe staged a comeback. Quote
SwampD Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 It warms my heart that the camera follows Eichel going into the first intermission. On another note, look at the size of Hull's neck. Good lord. I think you could build a deck on that thing. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) Fun. I hope Finland gets going, to keep the game close. Laine looks good, and remember, he's only played a few games on small ice. Definitely going to be a treat to watch. Keep Jack with Larkin and Gaudreau. They fit like gloves. Almost every single goal Eichel scored last season was a sick snipe. imagine if he adds 5-10 goals like that per season as he gets stronger and better at reading plays. I truly believe he can be a consistent 40 goal player, which would be something amazing with the current state of NHL hockey. edit: Not only Jack getting stronger, but players like Reinhart/O'Reilly/Nylander on his wing that can actually get the puck near him when he's in those areas by the net, as opposed to Zemgus (nothing against him) and Moulson and McGinn and the like. Rasmus_ Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Risto's play on MacKinnon  It's so tough rooting against Risto, but man he's been in good places covering up the puck for Rinne against that speed. His play on MacKinnon was a great sign. Eichel crashing, and NA is just too fast! Quote
Taro T Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Yeah Rinne over Rask was a terrible move They did? Huh, I thought Europe staged a comeback. A comeback of sorts, yes. A big enough comeback? Nope. Quote
bcsaberks Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Oh man, I didn't realize it was Risto who missed the check on Matthews for that goal. Such a range of emotions on that thing: Risto flub, Toronto loser great move, Eichel scores. How should I feel? Ha! Nice. Yeah, pretty neutral from here. Risto beat bad. Admittedly only saw the highlight (re: risto 1st period). Quote
3putt Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) Jack is also being responsible in his own zone. Nice to see Edited September 19, 2016 by 3putt Quote
dudacek Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) I don't remember Jack scoring many like that last year. Going to the net will get him 10more goals. He's no Gaudreau, butEnnis plays a similar game. Maybe he could be a fit with Jack after all. Murray is very good, Rinne is not. Oh, and Risto is a beast. Edited September 19, 2016 by dudacek Quote

dudacek Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 I've been impressed by Jack's smarts and positioning tonight. He's tracking back and filling lanes very well, moving the puck and himself to the right spots. Quote
WildCard Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) Rinne with an impressive sequence Bad Risto right there Edited September 19, 2016 by WildCard Quote
Randall Flagg Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Gaudreau is nuts. I've been impressed by Jack's smarts and positioning tonight. He's tracking back and filling lanes very well, moving the puck and himself to the right spots. He's improved notably in this regard from last year, can't wait to see it on our team. Quote
bcsaberks Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 2nd goal against, Risto error. Quote
WildCard Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 This team might win the tournament Quote
dudacek Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Well, we can't blame that one on Risto. Quote
sodbuster Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Team NA is playing as though they're on the power play. It's incredible. Quote
dudacek Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Jack's line looking very dangerous. Quote
bcsaberks Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Impressive! Early yeah, but NA vs Team Canada in final, how does that go in Toronto? Quote
WildCard Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Hoollllyyyy Rinne just robbed Jack and 3 other unreal chances. This might get out of hand for Finland real quick Quote
bunomatic Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 Unbelievable skill. It almost seems unfair to the other teams. Both team Canada and team U.S.A. have very bright futures. Quote
WildCard Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 This pace of play is just so entertaining too Quote
