3putt Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 Uh oh...Russia came to play. Price should not be the starter. I think we are going to like the Kulikov trade. Quote

LTS Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 The Russian coach looks like a vodka drinker Hmm.. I didn't think he and I looked alike at all. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Torts scratched Byfuglien to play Jack Johnson today. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 American defensemen in the lineup: Suter - Carlson McDonagh - Niskanen Johnson - Johnson American defensemen that aren't playing/in the tournament: Shattenkirk - Byfuglien Yandle - Faulk Goligoski - Krug I'd take Shattenkirk/Buff/Faulk and maybe Yandle over Niskanen/Johnson/Johnson easily. good job guys. dudacek Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) Be interesting to see who I will start voting for as this game evolves... Speed was not an issue there. 1-0 EUR Edited September 17, 2016 by dudacek Quote
darksabre Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Johnny Quick didn't have a chance on that. Quote
Hoss Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) American defensemen in the lineup: Suter - Carlson McDonagh - Niskanen Johnson - Johnson American defensemen that aren't playing/in the tournament: Shattenkirk - Byfuglien Yandle - Faulk Goligoski - Krug I'd take Shattenkirk/Buff/Faulk and maybe Yandle over Niskanen/Johnson/Johnson easily. good job guys. I would take Shattenkirk and/or Faulk over every defender on the team except Suter (maybe Carlson over Faulk but prob not). I would take Okposo over Van Riemsdyk. dudacek Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) Maybe its homerism but this EUR roster could use a player like Zemgus. That said, the speed advantage the kids showed against them is not evident yet for USA Edited September 17, 2016 by dudacek Quote
SwampD Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 So, is the only reason there is a Europe team because there is no Slovakian team? Quote
darksabre Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Life's good. image.jpeg Cool road sign. Quote
dudacek Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Neilsen is a solid player. Gotta say the Islanders have to be a worse team without him and Okposo. Quote
SwampD Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Cool road sign.Even though it's in New Jersey, I'll put my Polish Porch up against anyone's. Cable, Internet, surround sound,... kinda wish my house would burn down so have to live out here. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Neilsen is a solid player. Gotta say the Islanders have to be a worse team without him and Okposo. Agreed. But they're banking on their youth. If it works (or at least shows good potential) then they can re-sign Tavares and go for it. If it flops... Tavares follows his fellow vets out the door and the Isles might just sink back to the ocean floor. Also, Satan's team looks solid. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Patrick Kane finished the first period 8th among US forwards in ice time with 4:45. Eighth! Torts gon' Torts :wallbash: Quote
dudacek Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 US getting strangled in the neutral zone. And another odd rush makes em pay. Quote
Hoss Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 As soon as they named Torts to the team I was rooting for the team to be terrible. Let's hope that's the case. I hope they go winless. I'm pulling for Team North America. Quote

dudacek Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) You can complain about player choices and utilization, but there are a helluvalot of good US forwards who have created squat today. Edited September 17, 2016 by dudacek Quote
