TrueBlueGED Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 So, two weeks and change down, he should be back next week, right? Perhaps one of our ace Buffalo News reporters could, ya know, ask Bylsma how he's progressing. Quote
darksabre Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Perhaps one of our ace Buffalo News reporters could, ya know, ask Bylsma how he's progressing. They asked him on WGR this morning. He sounded reluctant to say it would be soon. I think maybe 2 weeks would be a better guess. Quote

GoPre Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Was it a borken foot? That's at least 4-6 weeks, right? Season is almost done. Don't see any reason to rush him back. If he's 100%, fine put him back on the ice. If he's not, let him hang up the skates for the season. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 ROR was on the ice for practice this morning. Still probably out for a bit but good news. Quote
WildCard Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 ROR was on the ice for practice this morning. Still probably out for a bit but good news. Still wearing red, but at least he's back. His foot was his problem, not a concussion or shoulder, so the no-contact jersey isn't the most important thing for me, it's that he's skating again Quote

Derrico Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 Sabres go 4-5-2 with ROR out of the lineup. Wasn't an overly difficult schedule but that's probably a better record than I expected by a point or two. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 Sabres go 4-5-2 with ROR out of the lineup. Wasn't an overly difficult schedule but that's probably a better record than I expected by a point or two. It just means that the young core showed what they are made of, IMO. I bet Kane, Eich, Samson, Risto ... had a little meeting and just decided to really show everyone what they are made of. Don't get me wrong ROR is a very important piece of the Sabres and their leader. Quote

As others have mentioned this injury may have been a nice blessing in disguise (especially if the injury isn't long lasting which it appears it isn't). I love this new core. Actually fun watching them and it's crazy/scary to think what they are doing at such a young age. Quote
