Hoss Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Why not their normal backup? He is apparently a healthy scratch. He gave up four goals on 20 shots. Quote
Brawndo Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 This is not good to hear ... https://twitter.com/BillHoppeNHL/status/701427196292947969 Oh Quote
Hoss Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 John Vogl @BuffNewsVogl Ryan O'Reilly was limping after game in Columbus and met with trainers there. Could be a foot and several weeks, source says. We'll see soon I started an O'Reilly injury thread, by the way. Quote
Brawndo Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Who does Dan match up with Crosby, Larsson? Quote
LTS Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 WAtch the game then head down to see the AMerks play and then head back and play my SUnday night game. It's all hockey all day for me. I love it. Go Sabres! Quote
bunomatic Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Morning game on NBC. Priceless. Oh shite, there is the Milbury thing. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Who does Dan match up with Crosby, Larsson? Yes. Wish I could watch this one. Flying from Dallas to Lubbock this afternoon. Maybe I can catch some of the online feed at the airport. Quote
nfreeman Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 So, where does the ROR injury leave the forward lines? Maybe: Kaner - Reino - Bailey McGinn - Eichel - Zemgus Foligno - Larsson - Gionta Deslauriers - Legwand - Moulson Or does Moulson move up to the top line and Bailey take his spot on the 4th line? That seems more likely, but I'd rather see the above. Quote
MODO Hockey Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 This is gonna be a tough nut to beat! :S Quote

K-9 Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Who does Dan match up with Crosby, Larsson? Does it matter? Like the Bills are to Brady, the Sabres are Crosby's . High time we stop that, too. That said, I would prefer Larsson's line to face him as often as possible. I like what Girgs brings to Jack's table and don't think we should break that up. I can see Bylsma mixing itmup though. Heck, if Eichel can maintain his newfound commitment to the D end, I wouldn't mind seeing him force Crosby to play some D, too. GO SABRES!!! Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 With O'Reilly out, what I really want from this game is to hear national media gush about Eichel and Reinhart. Yea, I'm that superficial. Quote
Huckleberry Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Good test for our rookie centers without RoR. Quote

If we don't at least hang with these guys or carry the play somewhat we'll get the usual beatdown from the crew at NBC. Quote
Brawndo Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Ryan O'Reilly-less lines for Sabres: Kane-Reinhart-Bailey, Girgensons-Eichel-McGinn, Foligno-Larsson-Gionta, Deslauriers-Legwand-Moulson. Interesting Bailey on the top line Quote

K-9 Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Love the idea of Bailey skating with Kane and Reinhart. Samson may like mirror images on either side of him. Great opportunity for the young guys to step up in an adversarial moment. I choose to make lemonaide. GO SABRES!!! Quote
