darksabre Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Does anyone here doubt that Karlos is going to get picked up and have a huge season while McCoy pulls his hamstring in week 2 and sprains his ankle in week 8, missing 6 games? Chances of this happening are over 100%. Quote
Hoss Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 If the Bills REALLY want to turn all this bad news around they'll get a Stephon Gilmore extension done. Quote
darksabre Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Lol Clay caught that ball and then had no legs left to keep running Quote
Hoss Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 It's almost as if a player like Karlos Williams would've helped cap off that drive Quote
inkman Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 I know it's preseason but throwing to Felton in the red zone should never be an option. Quote
Weave Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Chances of this happening are over 100%. Â He's managed to eat himself into a solid 50% chance of this happening. Quote
darksabre Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 I'm going to be so mad when the Bills find a way to waste Tyrod's career. How many years can Tyrod be great? Can we actually win in that time frame? Quote
JujuFish Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 How many years can Tyrod be great? Still waiting for the first one. Quote
nfreeman Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Still waiting for the first one. It's coming this year if he stays healthy, which is unfortunately a huge if. Quote
Eleven Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 There is so much I want to say, but let's start with cut Jordan Gay. Â Useless now. Â The Dareus and K Williams situations deserve some attention, too. Â The refs still suck (I saw that touchdown), and I wonder if Jones overtakes Manuel. Quote

Doohicksie Posted August 20, 2016 Report Posted August 20, 2016 Doesn't matter. If you don't like that condition of employment, get a job somewhere else. Quote

Maybe I've just become so used to the rules but the Greg Little drop was not a catch by any stretch of the imagination (under current rules). And there's virtually no chance Jones overtakes Manuel. Jones is a project and EJ has actually looked good in the preseason, too. Manuel is almost 100% heading into his final year with the team, but they'll still dress him on gamedays and have Cardale in street clothes. That's been the plan from the beginning per any reporters I respect on the matter. Quote
JujuFish Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 Greg Little wasn't going to the ground until after he had taken several steps and the defender started taking him to the ground. Should have been a TD. Quote
wjag Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 A real Buffalo rarity. A preseason win Quote
That Aud Smell Posted August 21, 2016 Author Report Posted August 21, 2016 Cutting Karlos struck me as strange, until I heard that he came back to training camp even heavier han he'd been at minicamp. If other backup RBs are showing something, the guy becomes an expendable JAG. Â But those TDs (9?!) last season weren't run of the mill. Â RBs are fairly fungible, though. We'll see. Quote

We'll see.  What blows my mind is, you've worked all your life to attain something only 1 in maybe 10,000 can attain. You hit the point where the big payday is in your grasp. And then you go off the rails? All the work in school, and then college, and you can't maintain your focus for another couple of seasons and get your big contact? What a shame. Kid has some skills. Quote

His biggest skill seemed to be his breakaway speed. I think the extra 30 lbs robbed him if that. I think Gillislee and Jonathan Williams can fill the void with ease. That Aud Smell Posted August 21, 2016 Author Report Posted August 21, 2016 Yeah -- that utter inability to focus or commit is a troubling sign. Â The stuff with Dareus strikes me as a farce. That guy wants no part of rehab, and, tbh, I'm far from convinced that he needs it. Is there more to this story that I'm missing? He smokes weed, right? Is the synthetic stuff a nastier drug? Â Anyway, the Pegulas insisted, evidently. Â Any truth to the rumour that Karlos refused to join Dareus, and so it was buh bye? Quote
tom webster Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 Lol Clay caught that ball and then had no legs left to keep running This is so Buffalo. TE gets behind defense for 69 yard gain and it's a negative. Quote

No. Williams actually gained weight after reporting overweight and being asked to shed some pounds. He was 261 lbs. when they cut him yesterday. He literally couldn't play football. His lack of maturity and commitment along with the emergence of J Williams made it an easy decision to cut him. I'll be shocked if anyone picks him up this season and not the least bit surprised if he washes out completely.  GO BILLS!!! Quote

Showing up heavier still when you got chewed out for being overweight a month or two ago is really, really bone headed. Quote
Brawndo Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 And on the same night Marcell announced he was entering rehab, he was out at Encore on Chippewa.   Even if he did not consume a drop of alcohol, this doesn't look good  https://twitter.com/brian_kearns007/status/767382744599068672 Quote

He was actually gaining weight throughout training camp. How is that possible with the amount of resources available in the form of specialized trainers and nutritionists? He flipped the bird at the organization and teammates and refused to better himself. And I gotta think his idiocy on social media didn't help, either. Employers watch that stuff as we know. Another example of his immaturity.  GO BILLS!!! Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 Patriots lose Sebastian Vollmer for the year, and Dion Lewis indefinitely (could also miss the season). Huge losses. Quote
