TrueBlueGED
Another good draft by Whaley. I've been impressed by him so far. The Bills tried to trade up to draft Reed, but Seattle took him I really don't understand why Woods hasn't succeeded in the NFL. He's the walking definition of JAG physically, so he needs a QB to throw him open and/or a high volume spread system that gets him matchup opportunities and schemes him open. Here he's had a run of bad QBs and the current system is a run-heavy half-field 1-2 read system and he's the 3rd or 4th option. I'm sure he'd be a decent enough #3 in different circumstances, but he really doesn't bring anything to the table to get excited about. Great hands and rout running, but terrible speed, height, and size?
TrueBlueGED
Great hands and rout running, but terrible speed, height, and size? I don't even think he has great hands. They're good, but he's not one-handing stuff out there. Average size and jumping ability, and just no explosion at all. He's like a poor man's Stevie Johnson. I liked Stevie a lot, but you don't want to be a poor man's Stevie. If they let him walk after this season I won't be sad.
Huckleberry
http://buckeyextra.dispatch.com/content/stories/2015/12/11/1211-washington-suspended.html Well this one isn't without history :p
Norcal
I like the pick, Washington is an interior disruptor. He'll wreak havoc on guards during passing downs.
Brawndo
Per Tim Graham the Bills have no interest in trading up for Connor Cook. If he is still on the board when they pick, all bets are off This is in response to a Jason LaCanfora Report that the Bills are attempting to trade up for him, including using 2017 Draft Picks
That Aud Smell
Who in our division is a running threat? Did this get traction? Abyway, it's evident that Rex is re-tooling the D to fit his scheme. Who is Ragland's comparable Rex player of old?
LGR4GM
You don't trade up for the Connor Cooks of the world. Plus I hear he's a @$shole.
GoPre
I'm still hoping the Bills land Prescott. He's the guy I hope Whaley can draft.

TrueBlueGED
I'm officially on the Cardale Jones bandwagon if we go QB today. Odds are each and every one drafted today end up as total washouts, so may as well go for the highest ceiling. If not him, then Vernon Adams with our last pick. That Aud Smell
^ Good point on Cardale. My take on him is in line with Inky's, but there's upside there.

Swamp made his special brownies. I always like when meta-Sabrespace PA shows up, but I'm afraid I don't follow. Is it the mere fact that I'm discussing the Bills and late round draft picks? Oh, I don't like Cardale much at all to be honest. But my general philosophy in the late rounds, where most picks end up useless, is to take the best physical skills and hope they put it together. This holds for all positions, not just QB. Floors the same? Go for the ceiling.

I remember him and Marquise Lee looking like Randy Moss and Chris Carter against SU. Then again so did Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey. inkman
There is such a narrative to the draft coverage. Pump up all our big marquee franchises and stomp on the little guys. The literally just explained 2 players with the exact same limitations but because one went to one of their darlings and the other went to a league doormat, completely different analysis.
