Iron Crotch Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Matthew Fairburn @MatthewFairburn now The Buffalo Bills have selected Adolphus Washington DT Ohio State with the No. 80 pick in the third round. Back away from the ledge True He has a shot to be the other defensive end... if he can stay away from the hookers. Quote
WildCard Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 What are they saying? He's not a true NT, just a rotational guy. We picked out of need rather than BPA Quote
Brawndo Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 FWIW, TBD isn't too excited about this pick You are a brave man for venturing there Quote
WildCard Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Reports are Billings isn't even on our board Urban Myer says he's a DT with a DE skill set. Fast feet too apparently Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 He's not a true NT, just a rotational guy. We picked out of need rather than BPA I'd expect Washington was picked to play DE, not NT. Looking like Dareus/Williams gonna share the middle duty. Quote
WildCard Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 You are a brave man for venturing thereThey have good info. I have an account, but I'm not crazy enough to post over there Quote
Brawndo Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Rex Ryan has his defense. Time to put up or shut up. Quote

Looking like Dareus/Williams gonna share the middle duty.Sounds like it's Dareus then, with Bryant and Willimas splitting downs PFF Draft @PFF_College Adolphus Washington had the 9th best pass rushing producivitiy (9.8) for DTs in the NFL Draft Edited April 30, 2016 by WildCard Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Sounds like it's Dareus then, with Bryant and Willimas splitting downs As long as they let Dareus attack upfield, I'm fine with it. But if they try to turn him into a space eater who stands there I'm going to be quite sad. Quote
Brawndo Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 They have good info. I have an account, but I'm not crazy enough to post over there I was pulling your leg, I have an account as well I'm a lurker over there. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 On ESPN they're talking about how he's a strong pass rusher but needs work on run defense. I'm all for more players who can get after Brady. Quote

WildCard Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Joe Buscaglia @JoeBuscaglia 2m2 minutes ago Whaley said he expects Washington, Dareus, and Kyle Williams to be versatile and play all three positions on the D-line. Quote

But if they try to turn him into a space eater who stands there I'm going to be quite sad.I'll be more than quite sad. Has Rex ever had someone in that role? Quote
Iron Crotch Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Pimps in Buffalo are celebrating this draft pick. Quote

I'm all for drafting high upside in the 3rd. If he turns into a pass rush specialist from the ok interior I'll be thrilled. Quote
WildCard Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) Pimps in Buffalo are celebrating this draft pick.$100 for head sounds like it buys you cuffs or future penecilin prescriptions Our WR's still blow. And more than Washington is willing to pay for them Edited April 30, 2016 by WildCard Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Ah my bad, been a long day I'll be more than quite sad. Has Rex ever had someone in that role? Not from the nose, best I can remember. The NT in Rex's defense is usually asked to eat up two blockers and let pressure come from others getting 1-on-1s. But given last year's experience and the firing of the DL coach, I have to think he's acutely aware of the need to let Dareus play more to his strengths. Quote
Brawndo Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Braxton Miller to Texans  Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Still good WR's on the board, I think we can take one then. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Braxton Miller to Texans  I'm sure he's going to enjoy watching Osweiler throw passes he can't catch. It'll be just like playing with Cardale! Quote
inkman Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) Yeah I don't really care about the 4th option in the Bills passing game. Robert Woods can fill that role just fine. Meanwhile, Watkins, McCoy, & Clay can catch the other 200 passes thrown. Edited April 30, 2016 by inkman Quote
WildCard Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Another good draft by Whaley. I've been impressed by him so far. Not exactly Brett Favre tossing the pigskin. Quote
