TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Cousins is looking ok, not great, but ok for the Skins. Cook is better than Cousins was. He absolutely needs one, or more likely 2 years of seasoning, but IMHO he's worth a flyer in the 4th. I don't think you can teach accuracy to any meaningful degree. I also expect Cousins to crash and burn this year :) Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Tampa takes a kicker at 59th Well, the new XP rule does make kickers m..... ...... I tried. Couldn't even complete the thought  Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Who drafts a kicker in the 2nd round? I mean he's good but he's a kicker Well at least the bills weren't that dumb. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 "Accurate inside 40 yards, struggles from distance." Couldn't you just find a generic unemployed soccer player to fit this profile? What is this fantasy football? No, your average fantasy football player is much smarter than this. Quote
Taro T Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Who drafts a kicker in the 2nd round? I mean he's good but he's a kicker Well at least the bills weren't that dumb. Pretty sure Janikowski was a 1st rounder (& was worth it). But can't think of anyone else worth going before the 4th round. Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Ya know, why not take Cook in the 4th. I could see it. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Ya know, why not take Cook in the 4th. I could see it. Well, our right tackles are still Cyrus Kouandjio, Jordan Mills, and Seantrel Henderson. Quote

Still see enough potential in Cook to grab him if he's there tomorrow when the Bills are on the clock. Well, our right tackles are still Cyrus Kouandjio, Jordan Mills, and Seantrel Henderson. Do you not see any potential for upgrades in the next 2 years? Quote
That Aud Smell Posted April 30, 2016 Author Report Posted April 30, 2016 Drafting a kicker on day 1 or 2 (or maybe in the sraft at all) makes little to no sense. Quote

Otoh, if you're right and you hit like Oakland did, probably worthwhile. I just think kickers are so potentially fragile, so temperamental that it is too big a risk to take one with a top 100 pick. TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 I think I'm looking at Braxton Miller and Andrew Billings here in the 3rd. I'd also be fine with an OT, but not familiar with who is left. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Cian Fahey @Cianaf 1m1 minute ago Don't take mid round QBs. Seriously, they always fail. I know somebody is going to say "but Russell Wilson!" Well, Wilson dropped because he was short, not because he couldn't throw accurately. That matters. Quote

Back away from the ledge True Surprised it wasn't Cook given the whisperings from TBN folk and Stepner, but works for me. I know nothing about him, but fits a major position of need both this year and going forward. We already traded up once and our remaining 4th is a long way back, but I wonder how much it would cost to move up for Miller now? Quote
